- Chuck Zito from Oz and World Japan's Kenzo Suzuki were in the house at the SmackDown! tapings last night. Additionally, word has it that WWE built the night around hype for WrestleMania, which will be in MSG as well. For those interested, Fan AXXESS will be at the Javits Center from 3/12-3/14.

- The reason for Goldberg's squash victory over Rodney Mack is that WWE was not only trying to bring back his "monster" character from the WCW era, but wanted to isolate Mick Foley, Triple H, and Kane for the ratings. By giving Goldberg an impromptu match, he theoretically had little, if anything, to do with ratings. Thus, WWE could see how well their hype for Foley's last show and the Kane/HHH match paid off. Obviously, since the rating was not that high considering what WWE was offering, WWE knows that it was the three of them who did not draw, and not Goldberg or anyone else. Vince is said to be interested in doing this to know what to expect from various wrestlers, if something big is hyped for RAW.
- The reasoning behind Kane's new "haircut" is that WWE wanted to further sell the permanent damage from his "burns". Since what they could do with makeup on his face was limited to what could last after a match in the ring, they had to go to further lengths to make the burns look serious, and decided to go after his hair as well. Interestingly enough, the combination of the makeup and the facial expressions Kane made with the mask off made him pay a close resemblance to his "storyline brother", Undertaker, which certainly couldn't disappoint WWE.
