WWE House Show Results from Hershey, Pennsylvania 6-22-03

I went to the WWE Smackdown! Brand house show last night in Hershey. At the beginning of the show, we were informed that Brock couldn't compete due to the boating accident, and now the main event would be a 3 vs. 1 handicap match with Kurt Angle taking on Best Damn Tag Team, Period (BDTTP is what I call 'em) and Big Show, "Unless he could find a fitting tag team partner"...


Nidia vs. Torrie Wilson
Special Guest Referee: Dawn Marie
Special Guest Ring Announcer: Sable
Before the match, Nidia was walking around flaunting her stuff, and when she came to the side of the ring I was at, I stood up (the only person to do so) and she showed her thong and blew me a kiss :). Ahem, anyway, Torrie dominated the match, but after hitting her DDT, Dawn Marie put Nidia's foot on the ropes. When Torrie went to yell at Dawn, Nidia rolled her up for a quick 3.
Winner: Nidia via roll up


After the match, Nidia and Dawn double teamed Torrie as Sable left the ring. Torrie came back, took them both down, and proceeded to rip off Nidia's top and Dawn Marie's pants.


Orlando Jordan vs. Jamie Noble
Orlando came out saying how great it was to be in the WWE. Jamie Noble wins the snooze fest when he reverses a rollup and grabs the tights.
Winner: Jamie Noble via roll up and holding the tights


Shannon Moore and Crash vs. Billy Kidman and Spanky
The whole point of this match was to have Billy out in front of his hometown crowd. Billy and Spanky won when Kidman pinned Crash.
Winners: Kidman and Spanky when Kidman pinned Crash


Billy Gunn (w. Torrie Wilson) vs. John Cena
I tell you, with how many homosexual referances Billy makes while in the ring against his opponents, I do not know how he is going to show us that he is a straight man now. Anyway, Billy dominated much of the match, until he ran towards Cena while he was on the turnbuckle, Cena nailed the double boot and put his feet on the second rope for the pin. After the match, Billy beat up Cena, and then he and Torrie mooned the crowd.
Winner: John Cena by a roll up with feet on the ropes


F.B.I. (w. Nunzio) vs. Rikishi and Rhyno
This match was supposed to be all three members of F.B.I. vs. Rikishi, Rhyno, and Benoit. As soon as we heard it was changed, I think the whole arena knew who Kurt's partner would be. Rhyno played the face in peril, tagged Rikishi, and Rikishi pinned Chuck. Following the match, Rikishi, Rhyno (WORST DANCER EVER!), and two kids (there was supposed to be a third, but the little girl was afraid of Rikishi's ass, I assume) danced us into INTERMISSION!!
Winners: Rikishi and Rhyno when Rikishi pinned Chuck Palumbo


INTERMISSION, and it is announced that September's RAW PPV will come to the world LIVE FROM HERSHEY, PA! They haven't had a PPV in Hershey since December of '95...ahh, back when Triple H was jobbing to Henry Godwinn in a Pig Pen match....Memories......


Sean O'Haire and A-Train vs. Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri for the TAG TEAM TITLES
Train and O'Haire were in control most of the match. Sean O'Haire was taken out by Tajiri's kicks and he rolled to the outside. Thus leaving A-Train to recieve the mist in the face, followed by the dreaded FROG SPLASH!!
Winners: Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri when Eddie pinned A-Train to retain the tag team titles



Matt Hardy Version 1.0 vs. Rey Mysterio for the CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE
When Matt Hardy came over to the side of the ring we were on and put up his "Mattitude" symbol, me and my bro and friend all got up and put up the "Mattitude" symbol, and he pointed at us and shook his head, as if trying to say "YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN' BOUT!" Back and forth match, basically the same one they put on on Smackdown! (The second one, not the first) with Rey coming out on top.
Winner: Rey Mysterio via Springboard Legdrop to retain the cruiserweight title



Big Show and BDTTP vs. Kurt Angle and Mystery Partner
Mystery partner was Benoit, as predicted. Kurt and Chris dominate Charlie and Shelton (I think, I saw Nidia peak out from behind the curtain, so my concentration was elsewhere). Big Show comes in, dominated by choke slamming both Kurt and Chris. Show goes for another chokeslam on Chris, and Kurt grabs (CLENCHES) on Big Show's balls, and hits the Angle Slam. Charlie comes back in, reverses an Angle Slam, then Kurt reverses the Haas Slam, into the ankle lock for the submission victory
Winners: Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle when Angle made Charlie Haas tap out


Following the show, Kurt, Chris, and Big Show remained in the ring. Big Show asked Kurt why he grabbed his balls, to which Kurt went into a long rant about how "he has touched a lot of guy's penis' throughout the years, but Big Show's was definately biggest". Big Show said that Kurt hadn't answered his question, and Kurt said "I grabbed your penis so you wouldn't kill my good friend Chris Benoit." This lead us into Kurt doing an impression of Big Show. Big Show then did an impression of Hulk Hogan/Mr. America (He said "I am gonna do Hulk Hogan impression, and then during the impression he said he was Mr. America). Kurt then turns his attention to Benoit, and asks why Chris has never hugged him back. He then asks why Chris has never smacked his ass after Kurt smacked Benoits. Benoit is like "Kurt, besides Big Show's big penis, what is up with you wanting me to touch your ass". Kurt then had Big Show slap his ass! . Kurt then DEMANDED Chris Benoit to smack his ass, and even went as far as to get a "Smack My Ass" chant going (Hershey is so dumb...). Finally Chris lightly tapped it, and left. Big Show took a bow for his impression, and left, while Kurt stayed in the ring and paraded around for another 10 minutes.

All in all a good show. As I stated above, RAW's Unforgiven in September is going to be from Hershey. Tickets go on sale August 9th!
