WWE buying UFC?, WCW return rumors, Rosey/Jamal update, more

• As an update to the rumors regarding a WCW-name return, don't look for it to happen. Not only is Vince not considering the idea, but he'll openly object anything brought up in creative meetings that involves a storyline related to WCW. Thus, unless someone comes up with something to change Vince's mind, we won't be seeing things like the nWo return either.
  
  
• There are rumors that Vince McMahon has expressed interest in acquiring UFC, interest he's had for quite some time. Vince's advisors told him not to do so, as they believe attaching his name to UFC will hurt the promotion's ties with the mainstream media. So, don't expect anything like this to happen now, but note that Vince's interest doesn't appear to be going away.
  
  
• Many fans have wondered why Jamal was fired from WWE recently. The reason is that his reputation in the locker room was not very good, as well as the fact that he was not protective of his opponents in the ring. Considering the 3MW gimmick couldn't get over anyway, WWE saw no reason to tolerate this poor behavior from him. Most believe the negative perception of Jamal came after he was arrested for threatening a police officer at a nightclub a while back.
  
  - Rosey's future doesn't seem like it will go the same way, at this point, as he is well-liked and respected by many in the back.
