HBK's reason for missing RAW, Goldberg conspiracy, Foley/Stacy incident, Funk/RAW

  • Since Thursday's Byte This, when Mick Foley alluded to Terry Funk appearing on tonight's RAW (6/23), question has moved around regarding the validity of such a statement.

    Right now, Funk has been contacted about making an appearance and something is indeed scripted for him. While WWE has no problem changing their plans at last minute for the segment, WWE is hoping that Funk will agree to do the show as many backstage are looking forward to this big interaction with Foley and Terry Funk.

    Funk has made last-minute decisions in the past, which makes it hard to know, in advance, whether or not he's 100% confirmed for the show or not. The one definite thing right now is that Mick Foley was being totally honest in stating WWE wants to bring Funk in for RAW in MSG tonight.

  • Mick Foley put over Stacy Keibler in a recent interview, at the expense of Test. On this week's Byte This, he noted that when he arrived for his return to RAW two weeks back, Stacy ran into his arms as a greeting. He then noted that Test was leering over her shoulder, and ruined the moment.



  • To address the question of why HBK was not on RAW this past week, it appears that WWE had just not written him into the show; wanting to push Mick Foley, Kane, and Evolution to a heavy extent. Speculation from some was that HBK was pulled from the show as punishment for his remarks on WWE.com, but that's simply not the case. Nonetheless, there was heat on HBK for such remarks, as originally reported.

  • Goldberg is starting to believe rumors originally brought to him by friends that WWE might be intentionally sabotaging his character. Originally, he simply blew off these remarks, but now is really considering their truth, noting the way he's been portrayed on WWE TV.
