Final Smackdown rating, follow up on HBO story, more on Angle, more

WWE Smackdown did a 3.4 rating, which is slightly up from last week's rating. It's a good sign to see an increase in the wake of reruns on other channels.

In a follow-up to the HBO Real Sports story, the WWE is aware of it and has a response ready for it.

To beat the dead horse on the Kurt Angle return story, the WWE is apparently going back and forth, right now, on whether to bring in Kurt Angle as a heel or face. Many seem to think that the video done on Angle last night would indicate that he's coming back as a face.

Sky Digital in Great Britain is close to finalizing a wrestling channel. The station will feature independent promotions based out of Europe, and they will also show various wrestling such as New Japan, NOAH, Ohio Valley Wrestling, CZW and other various small independent American feds. The station does NOT intend to feature any footage from WWE libraries, as it legally can't.
