Austin's facial injuries, Blassie in the hospital?, and WWE cost cutting

The reason behind Steve Austin having a busted up nose and black eyes last night was due to car accident he had over the weekend. It was said that Austin looked even worse before some make up was applied to his face before he appeared on camera. On RAW, Austin explained to Triple H that he damaged his face by slipping on a bar of soap while in the shower.

As mentioned last night on RAW, Freddie Blassie is currently in the hospital, getting treatment on his heart and kidneys. It was said, last week, that he may have been going into the hospital soon for a surgery. Let's hope for a speedy recovery, no matter what it is.

For a new method of cost cutting measures, the WWE has decided to stop bringing in every member of the WWE creative team to the television tapings. Only Brian Gerwertz and Stephanie McMahon were attending RAW last night, as Gerwertz was there handling last minute problems as head RAW writer and Stephanie was there as she usually is.
