For the first time in two years WWE returns to Baton Rouge. Last year's
show was canceled due to poor ticket sales, tonight's show is far from sold
    out, about 4,000.

Rodney Mack w/Theodore Long and Christopher Nowinski vs ???
Nowinski says he backs the Mack and Rodney is off the hizzle fo shizzle.
Rodney gets some cheers, being a local guy. Match is pretty good back and
forth action. Teddy Long is a funny guy if your sitting near ringside.
Rodney Mack wins via submission with the blackout.

    Goldust vs Mark Jindrak
Good pop for Goldust. Match was ok. Goldust went for the shattered dreams
but the ref stood in the way. Goldust eventually wins with a powerslam.
    Nothing special.

Lance Storm vs "Dr. Death" Steve Williams
Good to see the Dr. back but he is too slow for Storm. Match was very slow
with lots of pauses while crowd chanted USA. Lance Storm finally wins with
    a wicked superkick.

Jericho's highlight reel is next, special guest Stacy Keibler. Why they do
a highlight reel with no Titantron is a mystery. Jericho is great on the
mic, but I'd rather see him wrestle. Stacy notices his fly is down and
says rumor has it that Jericho has a small pee pee. He gets mad and almost
hits her when Test comes out and beats him up. Boring.

6 man tag Dudley Boys vs 3 Minute Warning and Rico
Rico says he will give Rosey and Jamal one more chance to be the old 3MW,
blah, blah, blah. Huge ECW chant starts when the Dudleys hit the ring.
Bubba says since Baton Rouge is such a hardcore town this should be a table
match, he was also wearing a bandaid under his eye like Nelly. Good action
in the ring, Rico was funny outside. Rico goes to kick Spike but hits
Rosey instead. Rosey and Jamal leave Rico alone and Bubba and D Von hit
the 3D through the a table on Rico for the win. Afterwards, they brought a
kid into the ring and gave him a piece of the table. They did a great job
of interacting with the crowd after the match.

    Intermission

    Intercontinental Title match
    Christian vs Val Venis
What does Christian have in common with Val's last co star? They both
suck!!! I miss Val Venis. Match was decent, could have been better.
    Christian wins with the unprettier.

    4 way Women's Title Match
Victoria w/Steven Richards vs Molly Holly vs Jazz w/Theodore Long vs Trish
    Stratus
Match starts off with the women pairing off. Trish and Victoria fight
outside the ring while Jazz and Molly are in. Jazz eliminates Molly.
Didn't really see it because Trish and Victoria were rolling around about
two feet in front of me. Awesome!! Jazz gets knocked out for a while so
Trish and Victoria go at it in the ring. Good stuff. Trish eliminates
Victoria with the Stratusfaction. Jazz and Trish are left. Jazz finally
wins by submission with a STF. After the match, Victoria and Stevie come
back in the ring to double team Trish, but wait, it's Maven to make the
    save.

    Tag Team Title match
La Resistance vs Rob Van Dam and Kane
The Frenchies say something about how we speak French in Louisiana, no
cares about them. RVD and Rene Dupre do most of the in ring work. Kane
finally choke slams one of them (I can't really tell the Frenchies apart).
RVD hits the 5 star frog splash for the win. Crowd loves RVD.

    Heavyweight Championship match
Scott Steiner w/Stacy Keibler vs HHH
Freakzilla and Stacy give the audience a treat when Stacy goes back and
forth getting into and out of the ring, bending over and showing the goods
each time. Earl Hebner and HHH get a good laugh out of it as well. Match
was better than their crapfest at Royal Rumble, but still slow. HHH flexes
his pecs at Stacy and pumps his crotch in her direction. She is disgusted,
but it's still funny stuff. Ref gets knocked out and HHH hits Steiner
with a chair. Follow it up with the pedigree, ref wakes up to count the
    1-2-3. HHH wins.

Overall an entertaining show. I was disappointed not to see Booker T,
Hurricane, or Flair. The Dudley Boys were all class and I have new respect
    for Rico.
