Report sent in by M. Milito

-Andrew McManus came out to welcome everyone to the show, informing us that
there will be a new crusierweight champion tonight. Said it was gonna be a
4-man tournament over two rounds (Swinger, Lynn, Saben, Kazarian). Brings out
Bret Hart and Hart has the depressing speech recorded earlier.

Announcers: Dave Penser and Andrew McManus (really bad)

First Match: Frankie Kazarian Vs. Chris Saben
Overall a decent match with near falls and Saben playing the heel. Saben won
with the "Future Shock" in about 7 minutes
    **

Second Match: Konnan Vs. Disco Inferno
Not a great match with many blown spots and the finish totally messed up as
konnan went for the faceplant and didn't even hit it. (Disco sold it thought
and it looked like the invisible man was performing the move). Disco joins
    commentary.
    * and a 1/2

Third Match: Meatball vs. Teo Vs. Puppet The midget killer
Entertaining match for what its worth and Teo won with a botched swanton bomb
(on the second try)botched the first attempt. After the Match they tried to
strip one of the valets that came out with them, from that point Shane Douglas
comes out and demands to be in the main event claiming he held all the
promotions he was in on his back. So Andrew McManus goes to the back to make
it a three way match. Match 10 minutes
    *

    Jerry Lynn Vs. Johnny Swinger
Pretty good match between the two and Jerry Lynn is victorious with the cradle
piledriver. Alot of near finishes and close calls till finally a quick ending.
Disco goes to the back to talk with Saben about Lynn
    **

    Intermission

    Discos comes back

Fourth Match- Crowbar Vs. Someguy from Sydney (Hardcore rules)
The Guy comes out running down his hometown and saying ya ya about how he
left. Pretty standard match with not much hardcore stuff (barricade, trash can,
kendo stick)Crowbar wins with his finisher. Match length 6 minutes.
    **

Fifth Match - Joe E. Legend Vs. Sabu
Good overall match with Sabu blowing spots left and right. Legend comes out
and trashes The Francise for not facing him that night and issued a challenge,
thus Sabu answered. Sabu did all his sig spots and finished with the asai
moonsault with the step off the chair onto the rope
    ** 1/2

Sixth Match- Jerry Lynn Vs. Chris Saben
Match of the night in my opinion. Many near falls, ending comes when the ref.
gets knocked out, Disco comes in, hits the last dance on Lynn and puts Saben
on top, Then Lynn kicks out. Saben throws Lynn into the rope a reversal and
then a kick and a cradle piledriver. Game. Set. Match. New Cruiserweight
    Champion Jerry Lynn
    ***

Seventh Match-Rick Steiner Vs. Sting Vs. Shane Douglas
Didn't see the whole match but Sting won with the death drop over Steiner.
Stayed for the first 5 minutes and it was a VERY SLOW match as expected. Funny
note: Steiner came out to "who let the dogs out!" it had me cracking up. By
this point Disco and Pensar are annoying so its closing time
    N/a

Overall, a little below a half decent show with Lynn Vs. Saben the highlight.
Estimated crowd is 1,200 and like i said before Brett Hart looked very sad and
didn't want to be there (like most of the wrestlers). The most heat went to
Disco (for constantly making fun of Sydney) while the pops went to The man
    called Sting.
