Flair at Smackdown, Vince news, Mysterio hurt?, Val Venis, and more

Ric Flair was actually at the Smackdown tapings last night, as he was there to watch his son, David Flair, wrestle in a dark match.

It's said that Vince McMahon has been focusing most of his creative energy on his feud with Hulk Hogan/Mr. America, despite most of the creative ideas of the WWE, in general, going through him. It's said that when the times get tough for the WWE, Vince won't have any idea on how to fix things but he will take his mind off of things by focusing on one storyline.

Rey Mysterio appeared to suffer some sort of leg injury at the Smackdown tapings. He was able to finish the match, but he had to be helped to the back by referees and a trainer. More info on this situation as it develops.

Val Venis vs. Steven Richards was supposed to happen on RAW Monday night, but it was cut to to time constraints. The WWE appears serious about pushing the Val Venis character, once again, for the 3rd time.

Despite the lower ratings this week for RAW, the overrun of RAW, the moments after 11:00 pm EST, did a 4.4 rating, showing that many fans tuned in for the fun of seeing Ric Flair chasing the World Title against Triple H.
