WWE Sunday Night Heat Results 5-18-03

WWE Open plays..... Heat open plays, we see outside of the Charlotte
Colliseum where thousands of fans are waiting to get in. Then we go to
an almost empty arena live with Coach & Al Snow, Judgment Day will follow
Heat, they go over the card quickly, then focus on the Torrie Wilson vs.
Sable Bikini Contest, they go over what led up to this match over the last
few weeks... Sable's re-debut, starting the feud and this last thursday
with the previews of the Bikini's we will see at judgment Day, Sable
arrives to the arena at that point and Josh Matthews interviews her,
saying He is looking very forward to the match, she insults him and says
she is too, etc... and we go to break, but later in Heat The Hurricane
will take on Steven Richards just before the PPV.
Back from break they go over the Card and stop at the IC Battle Royal, and
Al Snow says ONLY Former IC Champions May Apply... Then he announces
Booker T. as an entrant, but doesn't mention Booker is not a former IC
Champ...
Then They go to highlights of the Smackdown! Superstars overseas tour, the
Smackdown Tour De Force, and show all the stops... The fans reactions and
who they came to see...
Back from break, they go over what happened on Raw between Bischoff &
Freddie Blassie, and Austin Making the save before 3 Minute Warning could
beat up the Legend, then Austin Reinstated the Dudley Boyz and they Beat
Down 3 Minute Warning...
We then go to a video package on the History of the IC Title, showing all
the former IC Champions in no particular order, fairly well done piece,
they talk abotu tall the History, then all the controversies surrounding
the title.
Then Bischoff is shown walking down a hall and then he sees Sean Morely
talking to the Brooklyn Brawler, Bischoff asks him what he is doing there,
and Morely says he is going to be part of the IC Battle Royal, then
Bischoff says "Chief Morely" was never and IC Champion, to which Morely
replies, "That's a good point, I guess "Chief Morely" won't be taking part
in the battle royal... In other Words it looks like tonight we will see
the return of VAL VENIS...
Burn of the Night, Trish beating Victoria in the Hardcore Women's Match
from RAW...
They turn their attention to the Women's fatal 4 four match involving the
Champion Jazz against Victoria, Trish & Jaquelyne... They go to Terri who
is standing by with the WWE Womens Champion... She asks if the fatal 4
way match and the fact that she doesn't have to be pinned to lose is
another example of THE MAN holding her down. They say yeah, It's Pure
Hateration or something and Jazz says the other 3 will find out what she
means when she says "The Bitch is Back!" Still To Come Steven Richards vs.
The Hurricane
Back from break now, they focus on the RAW Main Event where HHH will
defend the title against Kevin Nash, they go over Nash's return, HHH
trying to get him to be on his side, then deciding for him that they would
be enemies. They mention that Flair will be in HHH's Corner and HBK will
be in Nash's corner. Then they show Nash & HBK arriving earlier in the
day to cheers from the onlookers....
Back from another Break, we go back to Smackdown where they talk abotu the
Hogan vs. Piper match, and we see footage of Mr. America visiting wounded
soldiers earlier this week, then we go to Smackdown, where Hogan gave a
fan an American flag, then Piper tells the fan to sit down and shut up, so
Piper attacks Mr. America and Sean O'haire goes after the fan with the
Flag in the crowd. Then O'haire comes back in the ring and Piper and
O'haire double team Mr. America, then the Fan with the Flag runs in and
hits piper in the back, which leads Piper and O'haire to beat on him for a
while, then Piper pulls on his leg and it pops off, it was a prosthetic
leg, O'haire looks disgusted and in disbelief as Piper drops the leg and
they leave in shock together, so Mr. McMahon order Piper to face Mr.
America at Judgment Day, and if Piper & O'haire can knock out Mr. America,
McMahon will pull of his mask to prove it's Hogan...
They also let us know that due to the injury suffered by Chavo Guerrero
Jr. he will not be competing at Judgment Day, Team Angle say they caused
the injury but Chavo was actually injured in a match with a Jobber on
Velocity I believe, but that might not have aired to make the fued hotter
between the 2 teams, so Team Angle says Eddie has 2 options, Not Compete
at Judgment Day, or Wrestle in a Handicap match....
WWE Call of the Night, Charlie Haas distracting Eddie Guerrero allowing
his Partner Shelton Benjamin to win the Match on Smackdown...
The Hurricane makes his way to the ring to face Steven Richards....
Tons of Boos for Richards, Hurricane starts working on the left arm of
Richards, Richards backs Hurricane into the corner, Richards comes back
with some offense, Knocking the Hurricane outside, then A vertical suplex,
and covers for a 2 count, Richards comes back with a stretch of the
Hurricane, but He gest out and hits Richards with an inverted Atomic Drop,
then goes to the Top, Big Splash, shades of Ricky Steamboat... Goes for
the inverted DDT, missed, Richards sends Hurricane into the Ropes, Goes
dow, Hurricane hits the Shining Wizard, ala Great Muta, and that's all it
takes, 1,2,3...
There's still time left, so Tazz & Cole talk up the Stretcher Match
between Lesnar & The Big Show... First Stretcher Match in 17 Years, Tazz
Predicst Big Show will Win, because of his size.. We go back to what led
up to this match, Big Show attacking Rey Mysterio Jr. The next Smackdown,
Lesnar takes offense, and challenges Big Show, Big Show says only if the
Title's on the Line, Lesnar says OK, and it's on.... We go to Smackdown
where Big Show attacked Mysterio during an interview and drags him to the
ring and attacks him, Lesnar saves the day, and the match is born....
They then show Lesnar arriving Live, as Big Show watches him walk in from
above..... Fade out, Show ends.
