    WWE Raw, 4.28.03
    Live from Boston, MA
Announcing: Jonathan Coachman & Jerry Lawler

Raw kicked off from Boston with Chris Jericho making his way to the ring where two chairs sat in the center. Jericho got on the mic and said he saw a "gigantic stomach with a kilt" walking around last night at Backlash, and then he realized that it was Rowdy Roddy Piper. Jericho said if the 175 year old Piper could bring back his show then the most entertaining and coolest guy in WWE should have his own show. Jericho said that Raw now had Chris Jericho's "Hi-Lite Reel."

Jericho then introduced his first guest, Goldberg who made his way out and took a seat. Jericho mentioned Goldberg destorying The Rock last night and said he himself had destroyed The Rock many times before, but he wasn't out there to talk about himself. Jericho said back in WCW he made challenge after to challenge to Goldberg but Goldberg never accepted. Jericho asked why he never accepted. Goldberg stood up and said it was a new beginning and if Jericho wanted, he'd kick his ass right now. Jericho declined, saying that he was out here as a legitimate interviewer. Jericho went on and said that Goldberg just marched into WWE, speared The Rock for no apparent reason and walks around like he owns the place. Jericho asked, "Who in the hell do you think you are?" Goldberg began to answer but was interrupted by Christian who came out on the stage. Christian asked Goldberg how it felt to be booed by half the fans last night. Goldberg said the fans pay their hard earned money and they can boo him or cheer him, he's cool with whatever they wanna do. Goldberg said he was brought to WWE to do a job and that job is to destory everyone who stands in his way. Goldberg then remembered getting a pretty good reaction when he speared Christian two weeks in a row. Goldberg asked if Christian wanted to go for three.

Jericho intervened and said Christian posed a good question. Jericho said nobody in WWE wanted Goldberg to come in. Christian then brought out some examples of people who didn't want Goldberg around. Out came, Steven Richards, Victoria, 3 Minute Warning and Rico. Christian said that the people on the stage deserved to be in a main event over him. He also added especially himself and Christian ran down his accomplishments in WWE. Goldberg replied and said if anybody had a problem they could walk down to the ring and take care of it. Richards grabbed the mic from Christian and said they weren't afraid of him. The heels made their way down with Richards being the only one heading in the ring. The rest stayed on the ramp as Goldberg drilled Richards with a spear.

    [Break]

The Hurricane defeated Chief Morely at 5:38. The two circled each other to begin with when Morely posed like Hurricane, mocking him. Hurricane then did a little mocking of his own and took his cape, wrapped it around his waist and did Morely's old Val Venis dance. The two traded a good variety of reversals to begin with Morely got the upper hand but not for long as Hurricane came back with a couple of clotheslines and a neckbreaker. After Morely missed the Money Shot, Hurricane hit the Overcast for the win.

Backstage, Triple H met up with Ric Flair who did an exceptional ass-kissing job on Triple H. H then said that he felt Flair needed some gold around his waist so he had Bischoff book them a match for the tag titles against RVD and Kane.

    [Break]

Theodore Long and Rodney Mack made their way out and Long said it was again time for a Five Minute White Boy Challenge. Long then took some shots at Larry Bird, saying he never would've been heard of if he were black.

Rodney Mack defeated Extremely White White Boy at 1:58. Long sat down for commentary while Mack hit the ring and proceeded to squash the most generic looking white guy I've ever seen. The white guy got in a tiny bit off offense with a boot to the face but just after that, Mack finished him with a powerslam.

After the match, Long introduced the new Women's Champ, Jazz who came out to a celebration with balloons falling from the ceiling. Backstage, we saw Trish watching on in disgust as Mack, Long and Jazz celebrated in the ring.

    [Break]

Backstage, Trish interrupted Eric Bischoff's phone conversation and asked for a rematch with Jazz. Bischoff proposed an idea and said if she could beat him in the ring, she'd get a rematch. But, if Bischoff won, he'd take her back to his hotel for the night.

Meanwhile, Test and Stacy talked about Test teaming up with Scott Steiner. Test had some unkind things to say about Freakzilla before he asked Stacy to start trusting him again. Stacy said, "I want to," before she walked away.

    [Break]

Rob Van Dam & Kane defeated Triple H & Ric Flair at 15:42 to retain the World Tag Team Titles. Early in the match, the cameras cut backstage to a shot of Shawn Michaels on his cell phone. Whoever Michaels was talking to said Triple H was a sitting duck.

    [Break]

After the break, Triple H and Flair had Van Dam isolated as the two made quick back and forth tags and took turns working over RVD's leg. Eventually, RVD made the hot tag to Kane who came in and cleaned house for a moment but ended up getting beaten down and put in the Figure Four by Flair. RVD made the save with the Rolling Thunder on Flair while Flair had the Figure Four locked in. Triple H then came in and planted RVD with a DDT and then hit a Pedigree on Kane. But, during the pin attempt, Kevin Nash's music fired up and out walked Nash with a sledgehammer in hand. Triple H scattered from the ring and took off through the crowd with Nash on his heels. In the ring, Kane chokeslammed Flair and RVD followed up with the Fivestar Frog Splash for the win.

Backstage, cameras followed Triple H as he thought he had got away from Nash. Just as Triple H came around the side of a trailer, Nash was on the other side and H hightailed it into a limo. Nash came up and smashed the back and one of the side windows before it sped off.

    [Break]

Scott Steiner & Test (with Stacy Keibler) defeated Christopher Nowinski & Rico at 3:53. Nothing special in this match, it was just there to fuel more drama between Steiner, Test and Stacy. Late in the match, Test tried to handle things by himself, trying to prove to Stacy he didn't need a partner, but when Test backed into his own corner, Steiner tagged himself in and leveled Nowinski with a DDT for the win. Stacy jumped in the ring and hugged Steiner in celebration which angered Test who told Stacy to get backstage.

Steiner then grabbed a mic and shouted out his catchphrase when he was interrupted by Rene Dupre and Slyvain Grenier, collectively known as La Resistance. Dupre said they were unlike Americans and didn't want to settle things with aggression. Grenier then had the TitanTron roll footage of Steiner's debate two weeks ago with Christopher Nowinski when Steiner said that anybody who didn't support the troops could go to hell or France, same difference. Grenier and Dupre entered the ring and Steiner proceeded to beat them down but the two on one attack was too much. La Resistance took Steiner in the ring and laid him out with a double spinebuster.

    [Break]

Backstage, Bischoff warmed up for his match as Morely stood alongside him and said everything was taken care of.

Meanwhile, Booker T welcomed Goldberg to WWE, saying that Christian and everyone else out there earlier didn't speak for the whole locker room. T said he had been there himself once when he was the new kid on the block. Booker said once Goldberg earned his keep, it'd be all good.

Booker T defeated Christian by DQ at 5:36. After a few minutes of lackluster wrestling, Rico, Jamal and Rosey hit the ring and attacked Booker. Goldberg came out to make the save, knocking Rosey out of the ring and spearing Rico. Goldberg then hit Jamal with the Jackhammer only to be attacked from behind by Christian who knocked Goldberg out of the ring. On the outside, Rosey tried to whip Goldberg into the ringpost but Goldberg reversed it and then waited while Rosey got to his feet. As soon as Rosey was up, Goldberg drilled him with a spear which blasted throug a section of the security barricade.

    [Break]

Eric Bischoff defeated Trish Stratus in a No-DQ match at 3:16. Bischoff came out and announced that the match was no DQ and then juked and jived towards Trish until she hit him with a kick to the head. Victoria then hit the ring and laid out Trish and she was soon followed out by Jazz and Theodore Long. Jazz took Trish to the outside and put her up in the suspended chickenwing move and then did it again in the ring. Jazz and Long headed to the back as Bischoff grabbed a mic and said he was looking forward to spending the night with Trish. Bischoff pinned Trish and continued to cut her down verbally until we saw a limo pull up in the parking garage. Cameras backstage caught Linda McMahon stepping out and as Bischoff saw it all on the TitanTron, he changed his tone and started telling referees to help Trish.

    [Break]

After the break, Linda McMahon made her way out and brought Bischoff back in the ring. Bischoff said he wasn't serious about his deal with Trish, saying it was just his way of creating compelling TV. He then tried to suck up to Linda but she had none of it. She said the board of directors had come up with a compromise regarding the general manager position. Linda said they had hired a new co-general manager who she felt was more in touch with the fans. She said starting tomorrow, Bischoff and the new co-GM would share their duties 50-50. Linda then introduced Stone Cold Steve Austin as the new co-GM. Austin came to the ring and did his usual salute to the fans and then offered a handshake to Bischoff who seemed weary about the situation. Austin said Bischoff didn't trust him but Bischoff replied and said he really wanted it to work. Austin said starting tomorrow they'd be partners. Finally, Bischoff accepted the handshake but Austin said, "Key word, tomorrow," and hit Bischoff with a Stunner.
