Hi, I attended Backlash last night and on an interesting
note Goldberg was boo-ed for much of his match. I'm not sure how it came across on tv but the chant "Goldberg Suck!" was everywhere. Also, during his entrance it sounded like the piped in "Goldberg" over the PA system. The crowd ate up everything The Rock did during and after the match. After the camera's went off there was a bald guy in the first row giving The Rock the middle finger. The Rock then said "Hey get a shot of this guy", once they put him on the screen he said "The Rock gets more pie in one night then you get in your entire life" and the crowd went nuts.

He then went on to say that "In the six years that I've been here I've never had my ass kicked so quickly". The crowd chanted "Goldberg Sucks" again and The Rock interrupted by saying "Come on Goldberg doesn't suck he's a pretty cool cat". He finally thanked the crowd said he had to go away for a little while but that he will be back. He showed total class and was by far the highlight of the night.

I attended Backlash last night, and after the show, as you wrote, Rock did say he was going to Hollywood, and thanked the fans, and said the "If ya smell.." thing, and was great. Another thing he said was, "This was by no means a farewell tour, I'll be back. I don't forget where I come from" or something along those lines. He also said Goldberg didn't suck, and that was the fastest he's ever been beaten in his six years of WWE. He interacted with the fans for around 10-15 minutes.

Nothing really exciting happened that wasn't shown on
    TV.

Steiner got a nice pop for his Heat match. No reaction
    for Rico unfortunately.

Nobody cared about the Rikishi/O'Haire match. Piper
got a nice pop, but the loudest reaction of the match
was a fight up in the balcony.

When Team Angle came down to the ring they had trouble
setting up their picture stand. Part of it broke off
and they had some ring crew guy fix it outside the
    ring.

The Big Show/Mysterio match was entertaining, the best
spot of the night was Show swinging Rey like a
baseball bat while strapped to the stretcher board.

Most fans were ready to cheer on John Cena, but as
soon as he walked out wearing a yankees jersey those
    cheers quickly turned to boos.

I think I was the only person booing Triple H and
Kevin Nash, which made me sad.

After Goldberg left The Rock asked for the mic and
said that the spear sure did hurt and that Goldberg
doesn't suck, he's pretty good. He said we won't be
seeing him around for a while, but he will return
(from Hollywood). He said tonight was a record... the
fastest he ever got his ass whooped in his six year
    career.

    Biggest Pops
    1. The Rock
    2. Goldberg
    3. Brock Lesnar

    Most Heat:
    1. John Cena
    2. Chief Morley
    3. Team Angle
