Team Angle defeated Los Guerreros to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles at 14:41. Good opener to the show. Benjamin and Haas brought out a big framed picture of Kurt Angle and set it at ringside. Team Angle kept Eddie isolated during the match but he eventually made the hot tag to Chavo late in the match. The Guerreros had the upper hand towards the end but Benjamin tripped up Chavo while he had Haas up for a suplex. Haas landed on Chavo and Benjamin held down Chavo's feet for the cheap win. Afterwards, Chavo dove over the top rope onto Team Angle on the floor. Eddie and Chavo then stole the tag title belts and walked backstage, hopped in a lowrider and left.
Backstage, Torrie Wilson told Test she didn't want anything to do with him but he ended up forcing a kiss on her. Sable saw the whole thing.
Sean O'Haire (with Rowdy Roddy Piper) defeated Rikishi. Piper brought a basket full of coconuts to the ring with him and then introduced O'Haire. Rikishi entered and the match was on. After O'Haire and Rikishi knocked each other down with simultaneous kicks, Piper came in but Rikishi got to his feet and clocked Piper with a coconut. O'Haire had recovered by this time and dropped Rikishi with his finisher for the win.
Backstage, Sable confronted Stacy and said that Torrie had kissed Test. Stacy stormed off. Meanwhile, RVD and Kane were warming up when RVD said he felt uneasy about Chief Morely being the special guest referee for the tag title match. Kane said if they were going down, they'd take the Dudleyz and Morely with them.
Rob Van Dam & Kane defeated The Dudley Boyz with Chief Morely as the special guest referee to retain the World Tag Team Titles. Morely called the match down the middle most of the way through, until the end when he hit Kane with a lowblow. Lance Storm then ran in but got taken out. The Dudleyz then had a change of heart and ended up hitting Morely with the 3D. Van Dam then hit a Fivestar Frog Splash and a different referee came out to make the three count.
Backstage, Stacy entered the women's locker room and attacked Torrie. Half the women tried to break it up while the other half cheered them on. Torrie tried to tell Stacy that Test forced himself on her.
Jazz (with Teddy Long) defeated Trish Stratus at 5:50 to win the WWE Women's Title. Pretty standard women's match, nothing too special. Trish turned the tables at one point, putting Jazz in the Boston crab and then turning it into the STF. Later on, Long interfered when he chucked a shoe at Trish. Jazz later got a rollup and held onto the ropes for leverage during the three count.
Big Show defeated Rey Mysterio at 3:45. Mysterio had a good effort in facing the big man but it was inevitable for Show to win. Mysterio hit three 619's in a row at one point but Show caught him off the ropes and nailed him with a chokeslam for the win. After the match, EMT's came out and put Mysterio on a backboard. Show then came back and picked up Mysterio while still on the backboard and swung him like a baseball bat into the ringpost. Mysterio hit the floor head first. The EMT's returned and wheeled Mysterio out.
Torrie and Stacy got into another fight backstage. Scott Steiner came to Stacy's aide after a box full of stuff fell on her head. Steiner picked her up and was going to take her to the trainer when Test came in and broke it up.
Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena at 15:15 to retain the WWE Title. The match was all Lesnar in the early going but Cena finally got in some offense around the nine minute mark. Lesnar was busted open during the match as a result of Cena opening up the wound he made on Lesnar on the previous SmackDown. Late in the match, Cena went to use his chain but the ref stopped that, allowing Lesnar to recover and hit the F5 for the win.
Triple H, Ric Flair & Chris Jericho defeated Booker T, Shawn Michaels & Kevin Nash at 17:45. Pretty good back and forth action throughout the match. It later turned into a pier six brawl with Triple H bringing in the sledgehammer. After Nash nailed Jericho with a jackknife powerbomb, H came in and cracked Nash with the hammer for the win.
Goldberg defeated The Rock at 15:01. Goldberg actually got some heat from the crowd as The Rock seemed to be the favorite for the match. Goldberg actually hit a Rock Bottom early in the match and went for a spear but Rock sidestepped it and Goldberg went shoulder first into the ringpost. Goldberg would sell his injured shoulder throughout the match. Rock hit a Rock Bottom and followed up with a People's Elbow late in the match but Goldberg kicked out of both efforts. Eventually, Goldberg hit the spear and finished it with the Jackhammer for the win.
