Submitted by Matt Hartgrave on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at 9:51 PM EST

Coach is alone to start the show, they go to a recap of Lita getting
harrassed on RAW, leading to her walkout and thus being fired, so we come
back out to Coach, who introduces his play-by-play fill-in tonight,
Jerry "The King" Lawler, he comes out to his music and they go over the
    card for Backlash.

Recap of Nash returning a few weeks ago, attacking Y2J and starin down
HHH, then the match being signed for Backlash, with HHH, Y2J & Flair vs.
HBK, Nash & Booker T. then the ultimatum by HHH a couple weeks ago, then
this week, HHH crotching Nash and walking off. All this set to music...

We go to Trish being taped up in the back, and Bischoff walks in, and asks
the Trainer what he thinks, the Trainer says in his oppinion, Trish should
not work tonight, as she is still suffering from the devastating drop on
    the table Monday Night.

Later Tonight, before Backlash, Big Poppa Pump goes one on one with Rico!

Back from break, outside the arena, the fans want in the building, they
now go down to ringside, where Tazz & Michael Cole are standing by, they
introduce the official song for Backlash, by COLD. They go over the
card, with Cole & Tazz plugging the Smackdown matches, and King & Coach
plugging the RAW matches back and forth.

We go to an up close and personal look at the Rock and Goldberg matchup,
and where Goldberg has been until now, and footage from Confidential last
night. Goldberg says he thinks the Rock is Cocky, and hates that the Rock
thinks he's the best, even though he's never beat Goldberg. Coach & The
King urge you at home to Order the PPV as they go to break, but Backlash
will start early with Scott Steiner and Rico in the Heat Main Event.

French Canadiians Promo, as we go to break, DON'T BE AFRAID!!!! La
    Resistance...

Castrol GTX burn of the Night, Mysterio embarrassing Big Show the last 2
weeks, even though Big Show has a 325lb weight advantage, they face each
    other at Backlash.

The WWE Stars visiting the Troops, Terri, Stacy, Test, Goldberg shaking
hands, signing autographs, the audio was not there for the first few
    seconds, thank you WWE!!!!

We go to the Dudleys arguing in the back D-Von is mad, Bubba is trying to
get him ready for their Tag Team title match at Backlash against RVD &
Kane, try to become 8 time tag team champions, D-Von says let them fire
us, they'll go to Smackdown, Bubba is listening, but Morely walks in
guarenteeing a win for the Dudleys, saying he (Morely) is the special
guest referee!!!!) Bubba is excited, and shakes his hand, D-Von gets mad
and walks off, Bubba says.... "Don't worry, my brother thanks you to" and
    walks off after D-Von.

RAW Promo plays and is very generic, Will Nash, HBK & HHH unite again or
remain bitter enemys, and what's next for Goldberg and the Rock... Check
    out Raw...

Mr. America promo, which is supposedly Hogan, anyway, he makes his debut
this Thursday apparently on Smackdown, and they say he's pretty built
    (Yeah, Because he's Hogan)

Anyway, now the build-up of Cena vs. Lesnar, Cena freestyling on Lesnar
talking about crippling him, but he's still breathing, they go down the
Tournament brackets and how cena beat, Eddie, Taker and finally Benoit to
get his shot at Lesnar for the Title, they show Lesnar against Angle at
WM19 doing the horrible Shooting star press.. then Cena disrespecting him
the last couple weeks, clockign him wiht the belt and such, then we go to
footage of Lesnar showing up earlier today, shaking hands in a good mood.
Now Cole and Tazz urge you to order the PPV, but first Steiner vs. Rico in
    the Heat main event.

WWE Slam of the week brought to you by Confidence, O'haire manhandling
Rikishi on Smackdown leading to their match at Backlash, 350lb Rikishi vs.
    Sean O'Haire w/Rowdy Roddy Piper.

We go to Josh Matthews interviewing Team Angle who are confident about
their match with Los Guerreros saying Kurt Angle will be in the Arena in
Spirit for their match and that is what will help them through the
match.... Another commercial break, but Steiner & Rico are next!!!!!

We return to the Rock arriving at the Arena, and Lillian Garcia tracks him
down, hyping the Rock vs. Goldberg match, The Rock has Lillian feel his
muscles, and she says it feels big, and he says as big as his muscles are,
the match with Him & Goldberg will be even bigger, if you can believe
that, and we go to the Spanish announce Table who speak some spanish and
toss back to the Coach and The King as the Sirens hit and Holla, If You
    Hear Me.....

    Match 1 (Main Event)
    Scott Steiner vs. Rico
Supprisingly Rico comes down alone, but to 3 Minute warnings music. The
King says he doesn't think if he had 2 guys like Rosey and Jamal in the
back, he would leave them in the back against a maniac like Steiner, but
never the less, Rico is alone, match starts, Steiner Guerrilla Press Slams
Rico, but Rosey & Jamal come down and distract Steiner while Rico gets up
and waits for Steiner to turn around, and hits a huge Roundhouse kick,
then Rico mocks Steiner and Steiner recovers with a body slam on the
approaching Rico, then a Belly to belly, and a big clothesline followed by
an elbow drop and some Pushups, the reverse DDT and that is all it takes
for Steiner to win, Steiner using the Reverse DDT, Sting style for the 2nd
match in a row, could this be the end of the Steiner recliner, or just
another option, anyway, Steiner wins... and celebrates for the fans, we
have about 4 more minutes in the show as that match only took about 4 and
a half, so we go to another Rock vs. Goldberg promo, basically everything,
Rock beating Austin, then announcing he is retiring the next night on RAW,
Goldberg shows up and spears him, leading to all the talk, "Just Bring it
Bitch" "Nah" and "You're Next" all the constant jupmings from behind by
the Rock, and from Last Monday, taking out the 10 security guards, but
suprisingly no footage of Goldberg blowing up his Barracuda.....

We go to live footage of Goldberg arriving to the arena as we fade out....

    End of show!
