• Bad news for fans of Masahiro Chono. Yesterday during his match with Shinya Makabe, Chono tore knee ligaments while attempting a Yakuza kick. There is talk that he will need surgery but while his scheduled tag team championship defense with his partner Hiroyoshi Tenzan against Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yutaka Yoshie appears unlikely to happen, many feel that if there is even a possibility that he can work his match on Friday against Kenta Kobashi at the Tokyo Dome, he will be in the ring.
  
  
• Fans who will be attending the MWF show on May 31st in Lynn, MA at the Lynn Tech Field House will see appearances by former WWE & WCW announcer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and former WWE and current NWA-TNA star D-Lo Brown.
