News On Rumor Regarding Tito Ortiz To WWE

The following news is derived and used with permission from MMANews.com:

"The Hunnington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz was in attendance at WWE WrestleMania XIX on pay-per view last night. Ortiz was joined by Limp Bizkit, Ashanti, the Miller Lite Cat-Fight Girls, among others as some of the celebrities who attended the annual pro wrestling classic.

There have been some whispers in the wind on the internet about interest in both WWE wanting Tito Ortiz, and Ortiz considering a run in WWE. That couldn't be any further from the truth. Ortiz does enjoy pro wrestling occassionally, as most do, but was mainly interested in the high-profile match involving two former amateur wrestlers. Kurt Angle, a former Olympic gold medalist, as well as Brock Lesnar, a former 2-time NCAA champion.

Ortiz has attended a few WWE non-televised events, and even went backstage to hang out with the guys at one of the shows in his hometown, but there is no negotiations for Ortiz to come in and work any pro wrestling matches. There is absolutely no truth to any claims to the contrary.
