Hulk Hogan Lies About WWE/Vince McMahon On The Radio

The following news is derived and re-written from the Observer Newsletter.

Even though Hulk Hogan publicly stated on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show out of Tampa that he was called that morning and told he wasn't needed for the SmackDown! tapings in Pittsburgh due to the rewrite because of Angle/Lesnar complications, that is completely untrue.

For whatever reason, Hogan made that story up from beginning to end. Hogan was never scheduled for the SmackDown! tapings in Pittsburgh even when the plan was for Angle to drop the WWE title in his hometown to Lesnar.

Despite the rewrite involving Eric Angle and Kurt keeping the WWE title, nothing was altered in the Vince McMahon segment. He was scheduled to air a Hogan-nostalgia video that showed all the ups in his WWE (technically WWF) career and then show that he was only ever publicly thanked one time for it. After the rewrite, nothing changed with that segment.

This is nothing new for Hogan, though, as he has been known to make up stories and talk about them on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show for reasons only Hogan himself knows.
