WWE & Vince McMahon very worried over recent rating drops

• The rating drops that have been occuring over the past few weeks have been on the minds of many in the WWE, including Vince McMahon himself. Many are very concerned that the ratings for both Raw & Smackdown continue to drop, despite various attempts to boost it, not to mention trying to get people interested in Wrestlemania 19 which is this Sunday. Many people felt that with the Wrestlemania hype and the returns of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & The Rock, the ratings would begin to show signs of an increase but that has not been the case.
  
  Vince McMahon has grown even more concerned about the WWE's recent ratings woes. McMahon thought that he would be able to turn things around for the company when he took over complete control of the WWE's creative direction a couple of months ago but it's obvious that he hasn't.
  
  As of right now, the WWE is at a loss on what to do to turn things around. This level of concern might have lead to the signing of Goldberg last week. While the WWE will not confirm anything, it is known that the WWE feels that Goldberg could bring a surge upwards into the ratings and with all the trouble they've been having recently with trying to find some workable storylines and angles to create interest and failing, the WWE could be putting a lot of hope on Goldberg's shoulders.
