WWE Sunday Night Heat Results 3-23-03

Show starts with America the beautiful sung by the many people who have
sang it at WWE events, Aretha, Boyz II Men, Little Richard, Willie Nelson
& Ray Charles while pictures of WWE Stars are shown with U.S. Soldiers.
Then a graphic comes up saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with the
courageous men and women of the U.S. Armed forces.

-WWE Open

-Rock singing to Bischoff on RAW is shown, singing the Rock will woop his
ass.

-Heat Open, followed by PYRO and we go to Lita & Coach at the desk as Jeff
Hardy comes to the ring.

Match 1
Jeff Hardy vs. Mark Gallagher?
They talk a lot about Jeff Hardy saving Trish on RAW then kissing her, and
what will happen on RAW this week, mostly talk as this match was boring,
Gallagher got a little offense in, and then did some showboating. Hardy
regained control and hit a jawbreaker on the young jobber. Gallagher
plants Hardy on the top rope to set him up for a German suplex, but Hardy
counters and knocks him right into perfect position for a Swanton, 1,2,3.

Later.... 3 Minute Warning vs. Spike Dudley & Tommy Dreamer

Wrestlemania Moment-WM2000 Pete Rose gets chokelammed by Kane then
Stinkfaced by Rikishi.

Next is a recap of the WM press conference from Tuesday, With sound bites
from Bischoff, Hogan & Vince.

Match 2
Al Snow vs. Steve Fender
Another jobber match tonight, Snow works on the left arm of Fender for a
while, until Fender can fight back and get some offense in, Snow regains
control and starts slapping him viciously in the corner. Fender goes for
a dropkick after that and misses, Snow grabs his legs and gives the jobber
a windmill ride. Snow goes after Fender with big punches to the face,
then the Headbutts, and a neck breaker. Snow goes to the top and just as
Fender gets to his feet, Snow hits a top rope cross body, then finishes it
with the Snowplow.

Lugz Boot of the Week, HHH making fun of Goldust leading to their match on
RAW.

Recap of that very match from RAW. Followed by an announcement that this
Week on RAW, Goldust & Booker T. team up again to face HHH & Ric Flair.

Match 3
Molly Holly vs. Jaquelyn (NO DQ)
A rematch from last week, this time, it's NO DQ though. No much better
than last week, they ended up brawling outside the ring and eventually
spilling into the crowd for about 30 seconds, if that. Back to ringside,
Molly slams Jaquelyn's head into the steel steps. Back into the ring,
Jaquey takes control and ends up winning with a roll-up.

RAW recap of the Rock interfering in Austin's match and eventually after
the match hitting Austin with the Rock bottom and drinking his beer.

Match 4
3 Minute Warning w/ Rico vs. Spike Dudley & Tommy Dreamer
Rosey & Dreamer start, Dreamer gets the advantage, and Rosey eventually
tags in Jamal so dreamer tags in spike. Spike actually takes control for
a while until getting double teamed and becoming unable to tag. Rico
pulls the ropes down and Spike falls to the outside, and gets beat up some
more. Spike back in the ring, being dominated, Dreamer runs in to help
out, knocks rosey to the outside, Spike Rips his shirt off and hits Jamal
with a Dudley Dog, but rosey interferes, and Dreamer comes and DDT's him.
Jamal grabs Dreamer and hits a huge Sidewalk slam, and Rosey comes off the
top with a big splash and the easy pin.
