Update on Goldberg to the WWE: Wrestlemania appearance?, more

• It is being reported that Goldberg has most likely signed his WWE contract about a week or so ago and was asked to keep the news of his signing quiet by the WWE. Goldberg has been spending a lot of time at the gym over the past week or two to get back into shape for his TV debut. As it stands right now, Goldberg will most likely not have a match at Wrestlemania but he could make an appearance at the event. The current plan for right now is for Goldberg to meet the Rock at WWE Backlash next month. The Rock is expected to leave the WWE after next month to start work on his latest movie but will remain in the WWE until Backlash so the WWE can get Rock vs. Goldberg on the card. It's being said that the Rock was the major catalyst in getting the deal done. The WWE had already worked out the money portion of the contract but the main hangup between Goldberg & the WWE fell to the amount of dates that Goldberg would have to work. It appears that Goldberg has agreed to 100 dates over the next year.
