WrestleZone Radio 2/28: Backstage News, Mailbag!

The February 28th edition of WrestleZone Radio featuring Matt Boone and Ryan Clark is now online.

Matt and Ryan started off with show-related news talking about upcoming guests. On this show, the guest will be Jerry Lynn (who ended up rescheduling during the show to this Saturday), tomorrow our guest will be Ken Shamrock, Saturday will be Jerry Lynn, next Monday will be Sean Waltman, next Wednesday will be Ted DiBiase, and next Friday will be Chuck Liddell.

From there, Matt and Ryan start discussing the latest in news in pro wrestling. Such stories that were addressed and discussed included Rhyno's return, Victoria's injury, WWE closing down "The World" aka "WWF New York", WWE RAW rating increasingly very little despite anticipation of Steve Austin's TV return, real reason Hulk Hogan missed SmackDown, Howard Stern mocking Goldust's new angle on his radio show, and Steve Austin pulling out of Byte This! on WWE.com, but The Rock and Jim Ross replacing him.

Then it was time to be joined by Jerry Lynn. However, Lynn rescheduled to this Saturday, but we played a recorded clip of our conversation with him so people could at least hear his voice since he's rescheduled four times now.

After that, we dug into the WrestleZone Radio mailbag. Today's mailbag lead to discussions and debates on the current Kane being the "real" Kane or the "fake" Kane, whether or not HHH is screwing Orton and Batista by having them be part of his Evolution group, the latest on Sting to WWE, how high the RAW rating will jump with Steve Austin's return next Monday, how good a wrestler Big Vito was in WCW, why Sean O'Haire hasn't been on SmackDown lately, whether or not Goldberg will in fact come to WWE, where Spike Dudley was this past Monday, who Goldberg will face at WrestleMania if his rumored opponent The Rock is facing Steve Austin, details on WWE AXXESS weekend, whether or not we'll ever see Austin-HBK II, if Scott Steiner should be turned heel, if Austin signed a new WWE contract, the new tattoo The Rock got, whether or not RVD will ever have a World title run, if the Intercontinental title will ever return, what happened to Steve Blackman and Tim White, why WWE has been doing so many pointless squash matches on RAW lately, which moves are banned in matches in WWE, what the best TLC match was, when the Elimination Chamber will return, if wrestlers won't want to job to the one-legged Tenacious Z upon his WWE debut, and what the best promo of all-time is.
