Official NWA:TNA Preview; World Heavyweight Championship Match

The following is the official preview for tomorrow night's NWA:TNA pay-per-view broadcast:

Months of build-up culminates in a true wrestling classic tonight, as the NWA World Heavyweight Championship is on the line. Jeff Jarrett is set to defend his coveted belt against the challenge of the man fans worldwide have chosen as the superstar of the millennium - AJ Styles. Styles is a former X Division titlist and held one half of the Tag-Team belts for a portion of 2002. Now is the opportunity of a lifetime, as the young phenom steps up to prove his worth in the ring with Jarrett.

Some have speculated, though, whether Vince Russo and S.E.X. will step in and become involved in this all-important match. It is no secret that Russo is dead set on making his "friend's" life miserable, as was seen in the assault Jarrett suffered two weeks back after the live broadcast went off the air. If the ring can be kept clear of Russo and his charges, we may very well have one of the greatest championship matches of all time!

Also, after Konnan convinced the SAT to turn on Jerry Lynn last week, Lynn has sworn revenge. The man who defined the X Division was verbally torn down by Konnan, claiming luchadores are the sole reason for X success and rallying his own troops to follow him into battle. Jerry, for his part, is sacrificing his own X Title shot this week to take care of this matter.

Matches Wednesday include:

NWA World Heavyweight Championship:
Jeff Jarrett (Champion) vs. AJ Styles (Challenger)
The stage is set, the battle lines drawn. The most anticipated title match in recent history takes place this Wednesday night between the skilled veteran and the young upstart. Expect a true mat classic!

X-Title Match:
Kid Kash with Trinity (Champion) vs. Paul London
Kash, fresh off his victory over previous champion Sonny Siaki, makes his first defense against the exciting newcomer, Paul London. London has been the talk of the independents in the Northeast. Now he is plying his impressive repertoire here in TNA. Kash, meanwhile, is the experienced ring general who has held numerous belts all over the world. A win against him would be a sweet victory indeed!

Tag-Team War:
Raven & Low-Ki vs. Sandman & Steve Corino
Three of the four are former World Champions. One is a former X Champion. Together, the "kings of extreme" collide in one explosive encounter. Sandman and Raven's rivalry is well-charted in history books and was furthered last week by Sandman's surprise appearance at the Asylum. Ki and Corino are no strangers to each other either, as they were frequent partners in Japan, now bitter enemies in the States.

NWA Tag-Team Tournament Match:
America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) vs. Ron & Don Harris
The former champs, AMW, are poised to reclaim their belts. To do so, they have to make it past the monstrous Harris twins. It's no easy task to knock down these two giants - former world champions in their own right. To do so requires great skill and strategy. Storm and Harris have risen to the top on two separate occasions. Now they face the biggest obstacles of their careers!
