Mark Coleman On RAW, Tank Abbott Update, & More

MURILO BUSTAMANTE STILL IN UFC, FIGHT WITH BARONI?

Looks as though the door is still not closed on Murilo Bustamante continuing to work with the UFC.

Bustamante's manager recently spoke with our friends at MMAWeekly.com, and told him the door hasn't been closed on the possibility of working with UFC, and he has a great relationship with President Dana White. He also mentioned that things were almost a done deal in Japan to fight for PRIDE, but they did not like the short-notice opponents they were trying to match Bustamante up against.

Murilo Bustamante's team said he has been training as hard as he ever has, and is more than ready to get back into the octagon, or the ring, to fight again. On the possible fight with Phil Baroni, Bustamante's manager said, "Well, really sooner than you could expect."

Phil Baroni has been hyping up his desire to fight UFC Middleweight champion Murilo Bustamante. Baroni told MMANews.com recently in regards to Murilo Bustamante, "I'm knocking Bustamante out, that's the bottom line. I got something against Bustamante, he's got my f*cking belt and I f*cking want it. He's hiding it in Brazil. Come on out f*cking chump, I want my belt. Your hiding my belt in Brazil and I got a f*cking problem with you. I deserve a title shot, you know what I mean? He got his f*cking title shot after a loss, he didn't deserve it. I've been knocking everybody out left and right and I deserve it. Now I can't get it because he don't want to fight? Because he wants to negotiate? Who's Bustamante? No one's even heard of him."


TANK ABBOTT ON FOX SPORTS NET THIS FRIDAY

Tank Abbott will be on FOX Sports Net's "Best Damn Sports Show Period" this coming Friday night somewhere in between 8pm-11pm.

This is only the second live mixed-martial arts guest the show has had on, the first being Tito Ortiz in preparation for his big showdown with Ken Shamrock back in November.

It will be interesting to see if Tank Abbott responds to the challenge made to him by former NFL star DeMarco Farr, who called Tank out on that show earlier this year.

MARK COLEMAN ON RAW, INTERACTS WITH SCOTT STEINER

Former UFC champion and PRIDE Grand Prix champion Mark Coleman was in attendance at last night's WWE RAW pro wrestling show in Columbus, Ohio.

Coleman was never acknowledged on television by anyone in WWE, but did converse with pro wrestler Scott Steiner as Steiner was going to the ring for a match.
