Dark Matches: The first match was between two jobbers and we couldn't hear the Fink say the names of the competitors, but we did hear him say the smaller of the two was from Columbus, so we cheered for him, and of course he lost.
The second match was a tag bout. I think the Fink said Doug Basham and Damaja for the heal team but I'm not really sure. Jackie Gayda of TE 2 escorted them so I assume they were OVW guys but I don't know any of them just by their looks. On the Face side I heard him say Nova and Jeter. The entrance music was drowning out the mics incredibly. Anyway, the heel team with Jackie Gayda won the match with a classic D'Lo Brown Finshing move, the Low Down or whatever the hell he called it.
Sunday Night Heat:
Steven Richards w/Victoria d. Maven.
The Dudleys d. Lance Cade and Rene Dupree via the 3-D.
Tommy Dreamer d. Michael Shane via dreamer driver.
Raw Occurrances: The Crowd was hot for most of the big names regardless of whether they were a face or a heel. I'd say HBK might have got the loudest pop, or when the Dudley's came out because they were the first big names to wrestle. It's hard to say. I will say that Stone Cold was getting a good pop everytime he was on the titantron. There was a large guy sittin in the front row and I thought I heard someone say "Mark Coleman" a UFC fighter, but I don't follow UFC so I don't know who it was. Big Poppa Pump did get out of the ring while the heels were coming out and gave the guy a high five and a hug, so he must have been somebody. He was being asked for pics and autographs all night too. The finisher from Rodney Mack on Al Snow looked devastating and many of us didn't think Al was going to get up, but he did without too many problems. Looked bad from where I was sitting. After Raw when off the air, Bischoff and Morely drank more beer. They got Lawler back up to his feet and gave him one and after acting like he would toast with them he smashed it over Morely's head and Bischoff ran to the back. Morely got beat down some more, then thrown out of the ring. Lawler and some Refs helped J.R. to the back to the OU fight song and that was it. Much anticipation and prayer for a Stone Cold appearance after they went off the air but to no avail. Oh well.
There's my two sense on the Live Show...
