WWE Sunday Night Heat Results 2-16-03

Show starts with the Same Curt Hennig Obituary screen from Raw (That Strangely didn't air on Smackdown) followed by a slow fade and a few seconds of Black before going into the Bischoff/J.R. incident from the Beginning of RAW. They jump out of that to the SNH Open, followed by some Pyro and we go to Coach & Lita at the desk talking about the Fallout from Raw as Christopher Nowinski makes his way to the ring.

Match 1
Christopher Nowinski vs. Spike Dudley
Spike starts in control, then Nowinski takes over as the crowd chants "HARVARD SUCKS" which helps Spike regain control of the match and ultimately hit the Dudley Dog for the 3 count. (Pretty Slow Match, typical SNH match)

As they go to break, Coach says that later in the night, there will be exclusive news from RAW, not yet seen by anyone, concerning D-Lo Brown & Theodore Long. Plus, the Main Event of the Night will be Regal & Storm vs. Maven & Al Snow for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Match 2
Steven Richards vs. Aaron Aguilerra
Richards came out wearing bright Pink tights with a face on them, strange, Lita & Coach discuss that, as the Match was not much to brag about, but what do you expect with these 2 names. Anyway, Lita says Aguilerra was one of the Conquistodors from the old E&C vs. Hardyz fued, WOW!!!! Coach is excited, but no one else is. Stevie hits the Stevie-T and covers for the 3 count.

Update on Goldust, Coach says he suffered 2nd Degree Burns, and temporary Paralysis, as well as Kidney troubles. They Flashback to Raw, where Booker T. is angry about what Batista & Orton did to Goldy, and attacks Batista, only to be destroyed by all 4 member of Evolution, until being saved by Steiner.

They then announce that on RAW, Steiner & Booker T will face HHH & Batista.

Match 3
WWE Womens Title Match
Victoria w/Stevie Richards vs. Jaquelyn
Match Starts with Victoria pushing Jaquelyn down hard, leading to a little brawling. Later in the match, Victoria gets dumped outside, and Jaquelyn dives off the top rope onto both of them. They get back in the ring, duke it out a little more and Victoria hits her finisher for the 3 count.

Coach &Lita talk about breaking news regarding D-Lo Brown & Theodore Long after D-Lo's match with Booker T. on RAW. It shows them in the parking lot, Long loads his luggage into the car, and closes the trunk before D-Lo can load his bags. D-Lo asks what's going on, and Teddy says, "You really let me down, losing to that Sellout Booker T." Then Red Dog (Cena's buddy on Smackdown) jumps D-Lo from Behind. Only they didn't call him Red Dog, they called him by, what I think is his real name (Bad Audio). He slammed D-Lo pretty good a couple of times in the door. Then they left him lying there as Teddy & Red Dog drove away. This basically proves the previous report about Red Dog jumping to RAW to be with his Wife.

They go back to what happened on Raw, Vince Firing Bischoff, Singing to him, Calling out the new GM, Ross comes out says Austin will be at No Way Out, and will face Bischoff at the PPV because Bischoff wouldn't kiss Vince's @$$. All that took them 20 minutes, I swear, I guess if you hadn't seen it, it helped make sense of things, but since I had, it just seemed to drag on.

Stacker 2 Burn of the Night, Kane & RVD beating 3 Minute warning on RAW.

They come back and Coach says, that a huge story heard first on SNH, is that RVD & Kane will face Regal & Storm for the Tag Team Titles at No Way Out, and on that note...

Match 4
William Regal & Lance Storm vs. Al Snow & Maven
Decent match with some good technical wrestling, these guys were good together. Maven showed some good moves, but couldn't get through the double teaming by Regal & Storm. Snow didn't figure into this match much. Regal & Storm end up winning it, as you could expect.

Coach & Lita remind us not to forget about Steiner/Booker T. vs. HHH/Batista on RAW.
