    Report by Jeff White

Kid Rock's "Lonely Road of Faith" plays, then "Welcome to the Jungle" and
out comes Fink. Some Local DJ gets in the ring and starts babbling, asking
crowd if they're ready to see Trish Stratus, if he would have looked at the
card for the show he would have saw that she is not on it. On to the
    show...

    Kane vs. Jamal w/ Rosey
It could have been vs. Rosey w/ Jamal at ringside, one way or the other I
forget but it was basically a handicap match because the one on the outside
kept interfering. Nothing special, lots of punches from Kane and little
offense from either 3MW member. Kane wins via choke slam, after match gets
the other in the ring and choke slams him as well.

Matt (TE 3 winner) & Maven vs. Chris Notwitski & Chief Morley
Matt went to Western Michigan (which is in K-zoo) so decent pop for him. He
started the match vs. Morley and took a beatdown for awhile. Once Maven
gets in match starts to go back and forth. Matt hits Notwitski w/ a nice
cross-body off the top rope (great elevation) for the pin. While Matt &
Maven are celebrating in the ring Notwitski & Morley are arguing outside the
ring, after Matt & Maven leave they get in the ring and argue face to face.
Doesn't last long, as they decide all is well and hug and leave ring.

Victoria w/ Steven Richards vs. Molly Holly
Basic women's match we've all seen many times before. End comes when
Richards gets on ring apron, Molly pulls him in the ring and delivers a few
chops and a huracunrana, Richards rolls out of ring and Molly turns
around right into a stiff kick to the face from Victoria who gets the 1,2,3.

Victoria and Richards start to go towards back but come back because next
    match is:

Steven Richards w/ Victoria vs. Tommy Dreamer
Fink announces at beginning that "No DQ" stipulation has been added to this
match. This was basically so the kendo stick could be used. Again nothing
special, basic brawling, both take kendo shots to the back of the knee and
shoulder, Dreamer scores the win after a DDT.

    Dudley's vs. Regal & Storm
"Regal Sucks" chants, Regal gets on mic, "I can't possibly suck because I'm
not from Kalamazoo" and something else about how K-zoo is pathetic.
Dudley's music hits and they come out to a good pop. Decent match, tables
chants throughout. After the "whazzzup" D-Von goes outside ring and gets
table. As he lifts it up Storm does a sliding drop kick into the table,
knocking D-Von down outside. Meanwhile in the ring Regal knocks out Bubba
with a single punch. I'm assuming he reached into his tights to get the
brass knucks but I didn't see this as I was watching D-Von and Storm. Regal
gets the pin. They then set up the table, but one of the legs is broke so
Storm brings in another. Spike hits the ring, attempts Dudley Dog on Storm,
Storm pushes him off, Spike lands on his feet in the corner, Storm turns
around and gets a 3-D through the table for his efforts. Dudley's stay out
for at least 7 or 8 minutes working the crowd. They bring in two little
kids from the front row, give them each a piece of the table and Spike takes
their picture w/ Budda and D-Von.

    15 minute intermission

    Booker T vs. Christian
Christian grabs mic when he gets to ringside. Says a couple of toothless
jackasses are chanting "Christian Sucks" and more talk about how K-zoo
sucks. Booker T comes down and attempts to start match but Christian keeps
sliding out of the ring. Match finally starts, all expected spots hit from
both, Booker T picks up the win via scissor kick. We did get a spinaroonie
during the match as well but it was kind of half-assed.

    Spike Dudley vs. The Dawg
Crowd was completely dead, a few "boring" chants but crowd didn't even care
enough to keep them going. Spike took the beating and Dawg got the pin
    after a sit down powerbomb.

    Jeff Hardy vs. Rico
Matches haven't been very good since break and this is no exception. Rico
has a few nice moves but Jeff Hardy gets the win with the twist of fate.

    Main Event
The "All Michigan team" RVD & Scott Steiner vs. HHH & Batista
Big pops for RVD as he's from Battle Creek, he gets on 2nd ropes and does
the "R-V-D" finger pointing thing. HHH gets on mic and says "So this is the
best Michigan has to offer? Hey RVD what's that thing you do?" RVD gets on
ropes and does the "R-V-D" chant again, HHH says "I got a better one,
'This-place-sucks'". Stalling from HHH & Batista, wasn't sure how much of
HHH we were going to actually see but he started the match and fought more
than I expected. OK match, kind of short, RVD hits all his spots and gets
the pin after a 5-star frog splash on Batista. RVD and Steiner play to the
crowd, Steiner does his "holler if ya hear me" bit and that's it.

Arena was roughly 75% full. Crowd wasn't bad considering that the matches
were pretty weak, especially after the intermission. I wasn't expecting a
great show from a bad Raw roster and the show was nothing spectacular. No
Jericho which was disappointing, I believe he was at the Smackdown show in
Detroit last night. Why would you take one of your best wrestlers and put
him with a more stacked Smackdown roster?
