The following are highlights from Xtreme Mayhem's interview with XPW King of the Deathmatch Supreme. The interview was conducted by Mike Nagel and Jeff Meacham on December 29th, 2002. Visit http://xtreme.themayhem.com/ to listen to the streaming audio or downloadable version of the interview!
Merry F'N X-Mas
They had to come up with different things for the match because of a commission in Philly that prevents them from having too much violence. He felt that companies were offended that XPW was coming out there and they complained to the commission.
His Name/Gimmick
He came up with the name "Supreme" because he's cocky and wants everyone to think that he's the best. For his gimmick, he tries to act like himself and turn it up a notch as well. Before matches, he will watch various horror films to get himself pumped for the match. When people ask him what's wrong with him backstage, he says he is just getting "in the zone" for his match.
His Massive Burns
If another serious accident like that happened, he still wouldn't call it quits. The hardest thing about that incident was recovering from the burns.
The Fans
He has been lucky when it comes to crazed fans. All the fans that come up to him are supportive.
Dream Matches
Of all the people in XPW, he would like to face Pogo The Clown. Of all time, he would liked to have faced Bruiser Brody.
Backyard Wrestling
On one hand, he doesn't think kids should be in backyard wrestling because they don't have the proper training. However, he feels they could do that if they plan things out and know what they are doing.
Other Notes
- Sabu was one of the people that inspired him to get into wrestling.
- He considers wrestling "rolling the dice" because you never know if you will get paid.
- He says the locker room in XPW is kicked back and everyone gets along with each other.
- He thinks since Shane Douglas became booker, things have been more organized.
- He didn't know that Joey Styles left XPW, but felt it was a bummer.
- He called Rob Black an asshole.
- He called Shane Douglas a good leader.
- He called Kaos a jerkoff and GQ Money a small jerkoff.
- He called Lizzy Borden interesting.
- He called Veronica Caine a bitch.
- He called Ric Flair boring.
- He called Hulk Hogan overrated.
- He called Mick Foley great.

The following is Yahoo! Television's WWE Smackdown preview:
UPN Jan 02 08:00pm Series/Sports, 120 Mins. Dawn Marie, 29, marries Al Wilson, 61; Undertaker update.
A local news channel here in the Twin Cities ran a voter poll on their website for the top 11 (it was channel 11, so that's why top 11, not 10) people who influenced Twin Cities sports in 2002. Brock Lesnar came in #9. They showed some quick WWE highlights of him and said he's changed many people's perception of pro wrestling in the upper midwest.
I guess the most interesting thing to note about him being on the list is that he finished higher than Randy Moss who was at #10 (for the record, Torii Hunter was #1).
