Ross Report: Ross comments on 2003, many injury news/updates + more

    - Here are some news and notes from the latest Ross Report:

  • Ross mentions that RAW this past week in Oklahoma City was great and that the crowd showed a lot of enthusiasm throughout the show. Ross mentions that it was great to participate in the Main Event but hopes he doesn't have to again seeing as he has "retired" from in-ring participation. Ross also put over the Booker T/Goldust vs. Chris Jericho/Christian match as well as the segment between Triple H and Scott Steiner.

  • Ross mentions that SmackDown was a great show as well this past week. Ross said that he liked the introduction of the new "Team Angle" stable which consists of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Ross mentions that both of these men have quote "paid their developmental dues in Ohio Valley Wrestling" and should work out great on SmackDown. Ross also mentions that he enjoyed the WWE World Tag Team Title match with Los Guerrero's vs. Edge & Billy Kidman.

  • Ross puts over Bradshaw's hard work overseas, with his recent trip to visit troops over in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Uzbekistan. Ross mentions that Bradshaw is expected to return in a few months and looks to be in the best physical shape of his WWE career.

  • Ross mentions that Rodney Begnaud, Red Dog, is expected to be brought up to the WWE roster from OVW in January. Doug Basham, another OVW regular, is also expected to be brought up in January.

  • Ross mentions that we could see a lot more of Sean O'Haire on WWE TV in 2003.

  • Ross mentions that 2003 could be shaping up to become a big year for the WWE, saying that we could possibly see the return of both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin at some point - most likely prior to WrestleMania 19. Ross says that WrestleMania 19 could start a new era for the WWE, especially with the edition of newer talents.

    INJURY UPDATES:
  • Jazz has been released from doctor's care from her ACL surgery and is expected to return sometime in January. Jazz has been training in the ring with OVW and is picking up the pace as the days go on.

  • Current WWE Champion Kurt Angle is not expected to be involved in any in-ring matches as a result of his knee surgery but is expected to be around 100 percent by the Royal Rumble on January 19th in Boston.

  • Rey Mysterio, Rhyno, Tajiri and Mark Henry will all be returning in a few weeks. Ross mentions that January will be a big month for returning WWE superstars, with a possible return by Randy Orton if all goes well with his shoulder recovery.

  • Ross mentions that he visited with Kevin Nash recently in Orlando, saying he looks well as he is continuing to rehab his quadricep muscle. Ross doesn't expect Nash to be ready by Royal Rumble but does expect a possible return around WrestleMania 19.

  • Ross mentions that The Undertaker is healing well and has gotten a lot of much needed sleep during his break. Ross isn't exactly sure when The Undertaker will return but does say that he can't imagine Royal Rumble without him.
