J to the ASON sent this report in:

I just got back from the Smackdown Tapings in Tulsa. Got my Version 1 shirt
and went to the seats for the 1st match. It was a solid show not bad, no
    Brock, which was confusing.

    Dark Match
    SPANKY VS. RED DOGG
Spanky takes this match with his Acid Drop which he flips over into a
reveresed looking DDT. Solid match, with Red Dogg showing some great in
ring moves, and Spanky always wowing the crowd. **

    Dark Match
    MICHAEL COUCH? VS. JONH SOMETHING??
Didn't hear the names, but after the match I didn't care. John was
announced from Oklahoma City, which got the "Cheap Foley Pop", Couch stunk
up the match. Very slow, which was mostly Couch's fault. John ends it
quicky after 2 botched moved with a DDT to finish this suckfest.
    DUD

Next Match seemed to be a Dark Match, or maybe a tryout as it involved the
man full of Mattributes, MATT HARDY!!

MATT HARDY, VERSION 1 VS. SOME LOCAL JOBBER who looked like Fit Finley

Matt took advantage early and keep dominating. The local guy did well,
bumbed good, and sold Matt's moves well. Side Effect and Twist of Fate
    finish off a solid match.
    **

The Cat and Josh Matthews come down to do commetary for Velocity, which my
friends and I popped huge for.

    Velocity
Smackdown's #1 Announcer, FUNAKI vs. "Don't call me Albert", A-TRAIN

Same match as they always have, A-Train dominates, Funaki comes back strong,
BUT in the end A-Train hits the Big back breaker, which should be called the
"De-railer" get it .. train... derail.. fine.
A-Train wins after many "shave your back chants".
    *1/2

JAMIE "By God" NOBLE and "Hey, I used to be a Italian, now I'm a redneck's
cousin", NUNZIO vs. The VALENTINOS (Rocco and Vinni)

I'm not real sure on their opponents but I am almost sure they are the
Valentinos from local fed, OCW. Good match, nice double team moves by
teams. Nothing too big, Nunzio/Noble finished the match witha double team
    Fishermans Buster for the pin.
    **1/2

    MAIN EVENT
CHUCK PALUMBO vs JOHN CENA (w/ B2)

Johhny C gives us a rap about how bad Oklahoma sucks, and how bad OU is. So
true. Johnny C untilizes the good old full nelson as a wear down hold..
cause he's OLD SCHOOL!!. haha Crowd loved Palumbo and he nailed the Discus
punch and went for a Jungle kick, which B2 dives in front of, takes the kick
then distracts the ref.. This allows Johnny C to low blow and a roll up to
    get the win.
    **3/4

Crew chages the aprons and colors change, it's time for SMACKDOWN!!!

Video footage shown from last week, then explosions ensue..

STEPHANIE MCMAHON comes down and talks about the "Main Event" of Angle vs.
Big Show. She announces that Angle was hurt at the hands of Brock Lesnar
last week after Smackdown went off the air, and he will not be in the ring
till Royal Rumble. She says she will show the footage later on in the show.

The Big Show hits the ring, and gets in Stephs face. He is pissed that he
will not get his match this week, and says that Steph better say he is the
#1 contender for the Rumble. She says she is upset at him for interupting
her, so she says that he has to earn the title shot, against Chris Benoit in
tonights main event. Big Show talks down about Benoit. Benoit hits the
ring and gets in Big Show's face... no.. wait.. his chest. Big show still
talks down to him.. literaly, HA. Then he says something to the effect of
"If Benoit has any chance to beat him, he would have to get him down to
Benoit's size ... and laughs. Benoit looks around and kicks Big Show right
in the balls. Benoit Laughs and walks to the back smiling.

Bill Demot comes on the screen on a nontelevised promo talking down Tulsa to
get his heel heat on the next match.

    BILL DEMOT vs. CRASH
After last weeks humiliation of Crash by Bill, Crash gets this match. Bill
dominates and wins with the "No Laughing Matter" moonsault.

MATT HARDY, VERSION 1, comes to the ring followed by Matt Hardy Version 2,
Shannon Moore. Shannon is limping cause of the beating he got from Brock
last week. Mattitude talks about how great his is... which is true, and how
Shannon showed great courage last week. He showed how Brock beat the crap
out of both of them, But SHannon is still standing, and it shows great pride
to be here this week. He challenges Brock to a match next week. Mattitude
talks about Shannon some more, and say that next week he will beat Brock and
then ATTACKS Version 2, but kicking out his bad leg. Matt stands there
mezmorized, and then leaves to the back, leaving his protege' to scream in
    pain.

    WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
BILLY KIDMAN and EDGE vs. LOS GUERREROS

Billy Kidman gets random tag partner 2, to take on the Tag Champs, Eddie and
Chavo. Great match, which gets restarted 2 times, cause of Guerreros trying
to run away. 1st time, they try to take the belts and leave, ref says that
if they are not back by 10 they lose by DQ and lose the TAG TITLES. Chavo
has to throw Eddie back in.. great stuff. Eddie tries to pull out Ref, but
ref restarts again, this time a NO DQ match. A-Train comes down and hits
the backbreaker on Edge, leaving Billy prone to a double team and a Froggy
Splash for the Los Guerrero's win.

They show the Brock footage (from last week), where he F5's Angle into the
Ring pole to hurt the champs knee.

Heyman comes down during the interview and shows his displeasure for Brock
and the footage, he brings out Angle and Angle talks about how is is still
the best and even with one leg, he could still take out Brock, anytime.
Heyman, says that he knows he is a Olympic Medalist and a Would Champion,
and now care of Heyman, he is a team leader. He brings out TEAM ANGLE. The
team consists of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. They are both top clas
athletes and Shelton is billed as Brock's old School roomate and the only
man to hold a win over him on the mat. Team Angle is born, and all 4 walk
    to the back.

B2 (w/ Johnny Cena) vs. RIKISHI
Same old Rikish match, with him hitting all his sig moves. Crowd poped huge
for him as usual. Cena distracts the ref and throws Bling Bling the chain.
He missed and Rikish hits him with a superkick and the Bonzi Drop for the
win. After the match he Stink faces both men.

There we're a few Al Wilson/Dawn/Torrie backstage stuff. All over the
place, NEXT WEEK Al and DAWN get hitched!!! Torrie is unhappy still, even
with the interview stylings of Smackdown's #1 Announcer, Funaki.

Los Guereros run into Johhy C and B2, they both talk in their native
tounges, (Spanish and Street) Eddie makes fun of Cena's homw town of
Boston, imersonatinfg the way they speak, and Cena goes off on them in his
own hilarious ..uh.. language... a must see promo.. haha Great stuff.

Angle preps Big Show for his match, saying he is the rightfull owner of that
shot at Royal Rumble. Benoit talks about his battle for the title, and at
the Royal Rumble, his dream comes true.

    MAIN EVENT
BIG SHOW (w/Heyman) vs. CHRIST BENOIT
Good match with Benoit trying to get Big Show down. Big man vs. little man
match, done well. Benoit gets the big man down, and tries for the
crossface, but Heyman interferes. Benoit wears down Big Show again, and
hits a MASSIVE German suplex. He goes up and hits a full body to body
diving headbutt, to get the 3!!

Hass and Benjman attack Benoit and hit him with a few great looking double
team moves, and Hass locks on a version of Eddie's "El Paso Laso" but lays
back and puts his knee on Benoits back. Nasty is what it is. Big Show gets
in a chokeslam and then they drag Benoit to the entrance way. Angle come
out and beraids Benoit, as Team Angle leaves.

    Great Show, all in all.
