    Dark Matches

R C Haas & Shelton Benjamin defeated The Shane Twins. The winners used a cool finishing move which combined a superkick with a back suplex.

Billy Fives & Scoot Andrews defeated Sly & Blake Gale (I think that's what they were called).

    Velocity

Jamie Noble pinned Funaki after powerbombing him.

Josh Mathews and "The Cat" Ernest Miller arrived at the commentary booth for Velocity.

    Chavo Guerrero defeated Shannon Moore

Rikishi squashed a wrestler (whose name announcement was completely inaudible). He used the Banzai Drop.....and no dance from him!

Bill DeMott came out to Mark Mero's old entrance music and destroyed Michael Shane with a moonsault.

Tazz and Michael Cole arrived to do commentary for Smackdown!

    Smackdown

Kurt Angle came out and after calling out Brock Lesnar announced that he was giving him a title shot (to loud cheers)....but not tonight (to loud boos).

Big Show was shown in the locker room venting to Paul Heyman that he wanted to be the number one contender. Heyman assured Show that he had a contingency plan.

Eddie Guerrero, with Chavo, pinned Billy Kidman with what looked a like a hybrid of the Razor's Edge and a powerbomb.

Matt Hardy was shown in Stephanie's office talking about the black eye he "suffered at the hands of Brock".

John Cena, with B2, pinned Chuck Palumbo after grabbing a handful of tights. I don't like Cena's new role, but he does it very well and gets a lot of heat. Rikishi attacked heel duo afterwards.

Torrie Wilson was interviewed next and said that she was going to show Dawn Marie what kind of predator she is. Dawn came out with Al Wilson and announced there wedding was going to be on Smackdown (another Smackdown wedding). Torrie said that Dawn and Al deserved each other, then left in disgust.

Brock Lesnar obliterated Shannon Moore, who was substituting for the black-eyed Matt Hardy. Brock F- 5'd both Matt and Shannon.

Kurt Angle came to the ring and announced his new agent as Paul Heyman. Heyman then entered and cut a promo on how he and Kurt had been co-conspirators all along, in the attempt of screwing Brock. This brought an angry Big Show. Heyman managed to convince Show that it was in the interest of all three of them. Show left with Heyman and Angle.

Bill DeMott & Crash defeated Jamie Noble & Nunzio. Crash was not even tagged in. DeMott was the only one to get any offence in the match. He destroyed everyone including Crash with "The No Laughing Matter".

Edge pinned A-Train cleanly with his spear.

In the main event Chris Benoit defeated Kurt Angle by DQ when Big Show interfered. Brock came in to make the save. Kurt and Show then attacked Brock. As the show ended Brock F-5'd Angle into the metal ring post three times.
