-A decent night of Ohio Valley Wrestling with the debut of a couple of new
faces, as well as an excellent Four Star match.

-Big Bad John vs. BJ Payne
    DARK MATCH

-Having not appeared on OVW TV for quite some time, Big Bad John made his in
ring return. The match overall was at a very slow pace with Big Bad John
applying a solid headlock and delivering a solid powerslam to BJ Payne.
Eventually this opening dark match came to an end after BJ Payne picked up
the three count with a top rope frog splash.

    -Winner via pinfall BJ Payne

    -Johnny Jeter vs. Kanyon

-This match by far the best match of the night as the two opened off with a
solid tie up in the middle of the ring. Kanyon gained the early snapmare
but the resillient Jeter refused to let the much more experienced Kanyon
maintain the control. Jeter then got a hold of Kanyon's arm and Kanyon went
to break the hold by grabbing the ropes, but Jeter refused to let the WWE
Superstar out of his grasp this time. Kanyon although managed to whip Jeter
off the ropes, using his hair as leverage, but Jeter once again was able to
reverse this attack and hit Kanyon with two varying flying head scissor
takedowns, followed by a drop toe hold. Jeter then showcased his skills with
an excellent running and turning springboard off of the top rope to a
headscissors take down recieving a great reaction from the Davis Arena
crowd. Jeter then showcased many interesting rollups and pinfall attempts,
but only managed to pull off a two count in his attempts. But to Jeter's
credit, this OVW 'homegrown' talent was one count away from beating a WWE
Superstar in every attempt. And also gained a two count after a very
impressive monkey flip like manuever into a roll up. Perhaps it might have
been too much showboating by Jeter, or maybe another rookie mistake, but
Kanyon was able to gain the upperhand by suplexing Jeter out of a body slam
position exhibiting superior strength. Kanyon then delivered a samoan drop
off of the second rope but only managed to get a two count. He then went for
the top rope moonsault but missed allowing Jeter to capitalize by hitting
Kanyon with a spinkick and following with a lionsault in which he connected
with at full force and still only pulled off a two count. Jeter then climbed
to the top rope, but Kanyon saw this and went to deliver another samoan drop
off of the ropes, but this time Jeter showed his excellent adaptation and
lesson learned from this move, and managed to flip over the back of Kanyon
and powerbombing him down hard to the mat. Although Kanyon did get the wind
knocked out of him, he was still able to hit Jeter with the Flatliner, but
the ever so remorseful Jeter was able to kick out of it at two. Kanyon then
hit Jeter with a facebuster with the leg of Kanyon across the top of Jeter's
head from the second rope, but still only a two count. It was obvious that
the much more experienced WWE Superstat was a bit upset at this point and
went for a top rope Superplex to finish Jeter off. Remorsefully, Jeter
knocked Kanyon down to the ground and waited on the top rope for the right
moment. Jeter then flew off of the top rope and delivered his excellent top
rope spinkick decking Kanyon square in the face and gained the three count
and the victory! This of course was a major upset and sent the local Davis
Arena fans onto their feet as the adrenaline pumped Jeter celebrated out of
the ring. Defenitely a Four star match. (****)

    -Johnny Spade vs. Rapid Fury
    DARK MATCH

-Rapid Fury is an OVW Trainee getting a shot at a longtime OVW mainstay,
Johnny Spade. The crowd really hates Spade which was obvious by their
response to every taunt Spade directed at them. Fury got the upperhand early
on with a hiptoss and series of dropkicks, but the OVW veteran Spade
delivered a strong suplex to Fury taking his momentum away. After two missed
elbow drops by Spade Rapid Fury was able to apply the small package, but
only picked up a two count. The match continued at a back and forth pace
until Spade delivered a huge crescent kick followed by the 'Spade-ton' Bomb
to Rapid Fury and picked up the victory.

    -Winner via pinfall Johnny Spade

-Jim Cornette was joined by Damaja on the mic, for an in ring interview.
Damaja told the Davis Arena crowd that Jackie G. was not there tonight
because she was home getting the Hot Tub warmed up to 169 degrees. Funny
Stuff. He then went on to tell all of the fans that continued to cheer and
support him 'Thanks but No Thanks' and basically says he is too good for
them. He will be live on Pay Per View in January and doesn't need them.
Damaja then claimed he is the only superstar in OVW which sparked the man
who Damaja beat for the OVW title to come out and inform Damaja that his
neck had healed and he wanted a rematch. The arrogant Damaja accepted this
challenge and told Nova that he should check out the injured Nick Dinsmore's
insurance policy as he will be needing one soon. Jim Cornette then sanctions
the match and stated that it will take place on next weeks TV program.

-Orlando Jordan & Mark Magnus vs. Seven & Travis Baine w/ Synn

-The match opened off with Seven, who apparently is fine from the nasty bump
he took at last weeks non-televised event, dominating the offense against
Mark Magnus. After some reversals Baine was able to make the blind tag and
deliver a huge clothesline to the unsuspecting Magnus, who after that was
laid out in the middle of the ring. The match continued with the Deciples of
Synn maintaining most of the offense. BJ Payne, who announced that he had a
suprise for the Deciples of Synn two weeks ago then ran out from the back to
the commentary position and immediately stormed the ringside area as he
chased after Synn. He then went into the ring and started attacking Seven
and Baine as the ref called for the disqualification. It was clearly two on
one as Magnus and Jordan were out from moves in the match, until Matt Morgan
from Tough Enough 2 ran into the ring and literally destroyed the two
members of the Deciples of Synn to a loud ovation. The two cleared the ring
as the Davis Arena crowd was on their feet as the show went to a commercial
    break.

-Winners via DQ Seven & Travis Baine

-Doug Basham joined Jim Cornette in front of the commentator's table for the
next interview segment. Basham told Cornette immediately that he needed to
stop try to dig up dirt on the relationship between he and his 'partner' in
the Revolution, that of course being the OVW Champion Damaja. Basham then
went on to say that he had the perfect addition to the Revolution. He stated
that he was a wrestling 'Machine' and the woman he was about to announce was
a 'Female wrestling Machine' and announced Leteita
(Spelling/Pronunciation???) to the ring, who is an absolute bombshell!
Leteita was going one on one with Linda Miles in both of their OVW TV Debuts
    tonight.

    -Leteita (Sp?) vs. Linda Miles

-The two opened off with a solid tie up in the ring with Leteita gaining the
advantage on the arm of Miles. The two went back and forth, shortly after
Miles delivered a shoulder tackle to Leteita, Leteita delivered a solid
chinbuster. A few minutes into the match Doug Basham got up on the ring
apron trying to get the referee's attention. He did of course, but as he did
Linda Miles was whipped toward him. Basham then delivered a stiff shot to
Miles sending her down. This was right in front of the referee so he
immediately called for the bell. After the DQ by the ref Basham and Leteita
attacked Miles and after a few moments Rob Conway ran out to make the save.

    -Winner via DQ Linda Miles

    -Lance Cade vs. Nova
    DARK MATCH

-Nova took the offense early on with a big hiptoss, but the crowd was pretty
quiet for the most part throughout this match. There was a small 'Big Bird'
chant early on, but nothing too huge, of course it was a dark match. Lance
Cade choked Nova in the corner for the most part, throwing Nova from corner
to corner. The match was fairly short and Nova gained the pinfall over Cade
after a kick to the head in the corner.

    -Winner via pinfall Nova

-Next just prior to the TV Main Event, Kenny 'the King' Bolin and Rene
Dupree came down to the ring along with a man who was later named as
'Butch'. Butch is a very large man who was practically dressed as a bum, as
Bolin announced that he was Dupree's new valet. Butch then went to on to
take off Duprees robe and 'fold' it, as Bolin told him to, but Butch ended
up making a mockery of his task and just threw it onto the ground, obviously
upsetting Dupree. Bolin assured Dupree that this would work out, and to just
stick with it, everything would be alright.

-Rene Dupree w/ Bolin and Butch vs. Rob Conway

-The match got off to a fairly basic start as the matches prior. The two
tied up with Dupree gaining the arm of Conway. Although gaining the initial
advantage, Conway turned this around on the 'spoiled' Canadian Phenom with
two excellent headlock takedowns. This was eventually turned around as
Dupree gained a solid headlock on Conway and eventualyl threw him into the
corner. Unfortunately for Dupree, Conway dodged Dupree's attempt to hit
Conway in the corner. Dupree then continued the back and forth pace in this
match with a big back body drop to Conway sending the match to a commercial
break. Just as the cameras came back onto the air Dupree was shown
delivering a huge spine buster to Conway and knocked him out of the ring.
The match came do an end as Kenny Bolin got up on the ring apron to attempt
to interfere but Conway delivered a stiff shot to Bolin sending him down.
Lance Cade then tried to come out to interfere with Conway just as the ref
was knocked down. Cade tried to hit Conway with the Bolin Services briefcase
but to no avail, but Dupree was able to hit Conway with his finishing move
and gain the pinfall and the victory concluding another good night of Ohio
    Valley Wrestling.

    -Winner via pinfall Rene Dupree
