XPW Monday Nightmare Episode #13 from 11/25/02 on WGTW Channel 48 out of Burlington/Philadelphia Report by Phil S. likeitis@hotmail.com
Segment #1- XPW TV opens with the new three host format, Joey Styles in New York, Kris Kloss in Los Angeles, and Roxanne Hall in the new XPW Studios in London, England! Pretty cool concept. Interested to see where they go with it. Kloss says he is now the XPW Broadcast Journalist, while Styles will handle match duties!
Segment #2- (From Exit Sandman 11/16/02)- XPW TV Announcer Kris Kloss is in the ring when Shane Douglas's music plays! Shane Douglas and Lizzy Borden head to the ring. Shane says "I hate your guts Kris Kloss! You are what's wrong, not with XPW, but with professional wrestling in this country today! Rob Black saved your rear end Kris Kloss, because on the last day he was here, he whipped out that tiny little pen of his and signed you to a five year contract! But, I don't have to let you have the run of the mill Kris Kloss." Shane said he is under contract but he can do with him what he wants!! Shane continued to berate Kloss until Kloss gave him the finger and left the ring. Douglas then said he had someone to bring out and to cut the lights!! Taz's ECW music played, then Raven's, then Dreamer's, and then Van Dam's! Shane said to turn the lights on and Joey Styles was in the ring to a HUGE ovation!! Shane introduced him as "the greatest announcer in the wrestling business today, Mr. "Oh My God" Joey Styles! Styles said he was there for 2 reasons .... 1) Because Shane and Lizzy, the owners of XPW signed him to a long term exclusive contract to call matches for XPW, and 2) to tell the fans what he really thought of them. He said for the past 2 years, since ECW went bankrupt and the McMahons bought WCW, he has been sitting back and watching wrestling go down hill and degenerate to necrophilia. He said his last show in the ECW Arena was in the December of 2000 and he didn't know it would be his last there so he never had to chance to tell the fans what he thought of each and every one of them. Douglas is yelling "tell them Joey! Tell them! Run them down!" Styles said "to be honest, i kinda feel like a franchise!! I always wanted to do that!" Styles then said thank you to the fans and told them that THEY made ECW, they made the Arena, they made him, and they made Shane Douglas! Douglas looked stunned. Styles said he took the job because he had to hear about Shane talk about how HE made ECW and how ECW went out of business because he left, and when he spews that crap, he disrespects everyone who bled and sweat in that ring, the production crew, and all the fans! Styles says "Who made who Shane? They made you! So as the XPW Television Network grows in 2003 and goes on pay per view ......" Shane can come out and lie to the fans and spew his garbage, but while he does so, he (Styles) will be there telling the fans the truth behind the mic! He then said "thank you boss" and threw the mic down! Douglas went after Styles but Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch ran in to make the save!
Segment #3- "J-Love Is Coming to XPW" promo is shown. It turns out that J-Love is Valentina, a well known valet/wrestler on the indy scene. She is shown posing in numerous outfits in a very sexy promo.
Segment #4- (From Exit Sandman 11/16/02)- The Sandman's retirement ceremony is next. Sandman's son Tyler and daughter Kelly come to the ring with him. Kelly and Tyler go to the ring as Sandman makes his way around the crowd to "Enter Sandman". Pogo the Clown then entered the ring. Sandman went to the ring to protect his kids. Pogo tried to bait Sandman into a match verbally abusing him and bragging about sending his wife to the hospital. Sandman finally went after Pogo with the cane and caned him a few times. He went to cane him again and hit Tyler instead. Tyler went down in the corner as Sandman continued to hit Pogo. Kelly begged for him to stop because Tyler was down. Sandman kept nailing Pogo until he finally stopped and hugged Kelly! However, Kelly kneed him in the groin as Pogo started to beat on him. She then grabbed the mic and said she was waiting 10 years to do that. She said it was Tyler that he chose to put in the angle with Raven, not her. She said that Tyler is his favorite and now she finally can get back at him! Pogo the Clown grabbed Sandman's daughter Kelly and left with her.
Segment #5- Doomhammer Promo is shown. It reads "I Summon Thee! Doom Hammer! Run! Hide! Call Yo Momma! Doomhammer! Coming Soon!"
Segment #6- (From Exit Sandman 11/16/02)- XPW TV Champion "The Rock Superstar" Kaos (with G.Q. Money and Veronica Caine) vs. Danny Doring. Kaos starts the match wearing the belt as he usually does. They exchange punches before Kaos backs Doring into a corner. Kaos takes down Doring and they continue to exchange punches. Kaos knees Doring and whips him into the ropes but Doring reverses it then executes a hip toss and a standing dropkick. Doring then goes for a single leg takedown into a crab. G.Q. Money runs in and kicks Doring. Kaos and Money both get Doring into a wrist lock but Doring flips out of it and takes them both down. Doring executes a nice vertical suplex before going for an elbow drop which he misses. Kaos kicks Doring and then gives him a t-bone suplex. Styles points out that Doring's trainer, Tazz, originated the t-bone suplex (I guess Nova didn't invent that one). Doring slides out of the ring and talks to Veronica. G.Q. Money grabs him from behind but gets slapped by Veronica by mistake. Kaos whips Doring over the guardrail and G.Q. Money flies over the guardrail onto him. Kaos now has Doring on the top turnbuckle as we fast forward later in the match. Kaos does a springboard head scissors takedown off the top. Kaos chops Doring three times in the corner before Doring reverses it and chops him back. He whips Kaos into the turnbuckle where Kaos does the Flair Flip before being clotheslined by Doring to the outside. Back in the ring Kaos gives Doring an inverted DDT. The "We Want Shark Boy" chants can now be heard clearly. Kaos misses a frog splash and Doring tries to capitalize with a pumphandle into a DDT. G.Q. Money throws powder in the refs eyes as the count reached two. Doring throws Money out of the ring and goes to the top. Doring goes for a leg drop but misses. Referee Patrick Hernandez is still having trouble with the powder in his eyes. Kaos rolls up Doring for a two count. Money rolls him out for a 2 count as well. Veronica Caine goes for a victory roll and gets a two count as Hernandez is still blinded. Caine gives Doring a tornado DDT and Kaos makes the cover but only gets a two. Kaos gives Doring a low blow and Doring then returns the favor. Doring rips off Kaos's shirt and chops him twice. Doring goes for a double underhook implant DDT and hits it, but G.Q. Money throws a fireball as Referee Patrick Hernandez. Kaos hits the Kaostrophe on Doring and Referee John Finnegan runs in and has to make the three count, giving Kaos the win.
Segment #7- Joey Styles mentions that Shane and Lizzy went to the U.K. and purchased a television studio in London, England. He sends it out to Roxanne Hall in London. She mentions that Shane and Lizzy have scouted the talent in England and have chosen two to debut in XPW. She will introduce those two next week on XPW TV.
