Raw and Weekend ratings, Earnest "The Cat" Miller WWE announcer?
Submitted by Calvin Martin on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at 8:32 PM EST

Last night's Raw did a 3.4 cable rating. Hour one and hour two both did a 3.4.
Sunday Night Heat did a 1.4 cable rating.
Velocity did a 0.9 cable rating.
Confidential did a .08 cable rating.

Earnest "The Cat" Miller may get an announcing tryout tonight at the Smackdown tapings. Tazz has been given the week off due to personal reasons. WWE was not impressed with Miller's ring work recently in dark matches, but they feel he has what it takes to be a "B" show announcer.

Kevin Dunn (executive producer) is also off this week on vacation.

Undertaker's wife, Sara, finally gave birth to a baby girl last week. Undertaker is expected back any time now.

Kurt Angle's wife gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. Angle is at the Smackdown tapings tonight so he is not expected to miss any time.

Rowdy Roddy Piper appeared on the John Boy and Billy Radio Show this morning (Tuesday 11-26-2002). Here are some highlights of what he had to say:

-He is very disappointed in the direction professional wrestling is going (The necrophilia angle, HLA, Billy and Chuck Ceremony, etc.)

-He said he will never wrestle again.

-He believes that wrestlers should have more benefits (such as healthcare)

-He is starting a rehab hospital for injured wrestlers where they can receive free health care.

-He supports the NWA-TNA's efforts to bring back old school wrestling, however he thinks they need to dump Russo.

-He hates Vince McMahon and thinks Vince just uses and abuses his talent and then loses them when they are useless.

-Vince doesn't care about the fans or his wrestlers, just himself.

-He was contacted about coming into the WWE for a short stint but refused.
