-I apologize to all of my loyal readers who have been deprived of my weekly
OVW recaps over the past two weeks, but I have been extremely with other
business outside of wrestling, and got a bit sidetracked. That business is
taken care of and will not effect me again until the Spring.

    -Matt Morgan vs. Seven
    DARK MATCH

-Morgan and Seven opened with a strong tie up, as Morgan showed his obvious
upperhand throwing Seven down the mat hard. Seven although, the more
experienced ring technician applied a headlock to try to slow the big man
down. The match progressed and Seven actually gained somewhat of an
upperhand working on the arm of Morgan. At one point Seven took to the
outside, as Morgan laid in the ring, Seven took Morgan's arm and rammed it
into the post very hard. Eventually the match came to an end as Seven
delivered the blatant kick below the belt right in front of the ref, as the
ref then called for the bell.

    -Winner via DQ Matt Morgan

-Eric Angle vs. "Machine" Doug Basham

-The two opened off the Television taping with a strong tieup rolling all
around the ring. Eventually Angle managed to pull off the front face slam
after a successful arm drag to Basham. The two continued trading reversals
on each others arms, and was overall very slow. Basham threw Angle into the
turnbuckle corner hard and being the cocky ringwise veteran, believed this
was enough to offset Angle, and went on to taunt the crowd. Well apparnetly
Angle had a bit in him as he then went on to deliver a big clothesline to
Basham. Throughout most of the rest of the match Basham worked over the
right arm of Angle, presumably because that was the arm that Angle had
surgery on, which I'm sure Cornette played up huge. The match came to an end
after run-ins by Johnny Spade, Kanyon, and Rob Conway to equalize, but the
distraction was enough and allowed Basham to pull off the pinfall on Eric
Angle with a Double-Underhook sit down facebuster.

-Winner via pinfall "Machine" Doug Basham

-Jim Cornette was then joined by Bolin Services consisting of Kenny "the
King" Bolin, Rene Dupree, Sean O'Haire and Lance Cade. Bolin opened off on
the mic by talking about how Charlie Haas broke his 'lacky', Jerome Croney's
ankles two weeks ago, and how tragic it is. The Davis Arena showed how
tragic they thought it was (not at all) with their various profane comments
directed towards BS. Cade, who recently cut all of his long hair off, then
got on the mic recieving an immediate "Big Bird" chant from the crowd and
basically ran down Haas and Big Bossman. Sean O'Haire got on the mic and
followed up Cade's comments basically saying the same thing about the two,
prolonging this fued. Rene Dupree was the last member of Bolin Services to
get on the mic and spoke about Jerome Croney as well. Dupree was upset that
Croney was injured, not because he was hurt, but because Dupree would not
have someone to escort him to the ring and comb his hair among other chores.
Dupree told Bolin that he had a clause in his contract that stated that he
would have someone to make his life easy and Bolin responded by telling
Dupree to not worry about it and that he would take care of this problem and
get a 'valet' for Dupree to replace Croney.

    -Johnny Jeter vs. Lance Cade
    DARK MATCH

-Overall a good match with a fairly quick start as the two worked on each
others arms. Early on Jeter hit Cade with a very nice dropkick but was only
able to pull of the two count. Cade then responded to this by delivering a
very quick and tough suplex to Jeter sending him crashing down to the mat
very hard. Cade continued this assault on the back of Jeter by delivering
hard forearms to the back of Jeter. Jeter eventually came back with a sunset
flip only to gain a two count on that, as well as his other pinfall
attempts. Just as Jeter looked to be gaining some ground in this match by
climbing to the top rope Lance Cade ran his entire body into the ropes and
racked Jeter in the top corner. At this point Cade then tried the SuperPlex
off of the top, but Jeter was able to throw Cade down to the mat. Jeter then
went for a top rope splash but missed on that attempt as well. Lance Cade
then went to the opposite top turnbuckle and delivered a very picture
perfect elbow drop and gained the pinfall and the victory.

    -Winner via pinfall Lance Cade

-Charlie Haas w/ Linda Miles vs. Kanyon w/ Jackie Gayda

-The words of "Who Betta than Kanyon" played loudly over the PA system at
the start of the next very solid wrestling match. Haas actually got the
early advantage on the much more experienced Kanyon, and took to work on the
left arm of Kanyon. While Haas was focused on the arm of Kanyon the crowd
was focused on the 'Hot Tub Ho' at ringside, Jackie Gayda, as the crowd was
chanting that very loudly towards her. After a step over arm wringer applied
by Haas, Jackie Gayda thought that she would be able to gain her man an
advantage by distracting the ref. While Gayda distracted the ref, and Haas
whipped Kanyon off the ropes, Linda Miles, who was in Haas' corner tripped
Kanyon recieving a very great reaction from the Davis Arena crowd. Kanyon's
level of aggression was obviously increased by this as he obviously took it
out on his opponent. Kanyon set Haas up on the top turnbuckle and actually
managed to apply the Boston Crab while on the top rope, very impressive.
Once he set him back into the ring he went for the three count with his feet
on the ropes for leverage but the referee saw this coming and stopped the
count before awarding the victory to Kanyon. Kanyon then applied a reverse
Boston Crab to Haas, but Haas managed to kick out and gain a roll up, but
only a two count. The match progressed until Linda Miles and Jackie Gayda
ended up brawling on the outside of the ring. The referee was of course
distracted with this brawl outside of the ring, and Haas was able to apply
his submission move the 'Haas of Pain' on Kanyon, but the ref was in no
position to make a call. Lance Cade along with Kenny Bolin then stormed the
ring and Cade hit his second picture perfect top rope elbow drop to the back
of the head of Haas, allowing Kanyon to gain the pinfall once the ref turned
    around.

    -Winner via pinfall Kanyon

    -Eddie Guerrero vs. Nova
    TV MAIN EVENT

-Prior to the match Eddie Guerrero made his way to the ring first and got on
the mic and ran down the crowd watching at home, and continued to run down
the crowd throughout the commercial break. As much as the crowd hated Eddie
by the start of this match, this still did not effect the reaction that Nova
recieved upon arriving to the ring. It certainly is a very awkward scenario,
and anticipate a legit turn by Nova sooner than later. The crowd actually
chanted 'Eddie' early on disregarding his previous comments to the
Louisville fans. The match was fairly technical to open things off as
Guerrero worked on the arm of Nova keeping most of the offense early on in
the match and continued his dominating force with a solid headscissors to
Nova who was laying on the mat. At this point the reaction was actually
split between Nova and Guerrero, although still suprising considering
Guerrero's strong heel persona. Nova then went on to retaliate against
Guerrero's attacks with a solid flying head scissors followed by a strong
bulldog out of the turnbuckle corner. Eventually Guerrero ended up on the
outside of the ring and Nova went flying over the top rope down to the
ground where Guerrero was standing. Unfortunately for Nova, this ringwise
veteran was able to counter, catching Nova and bodyslamming him down hard to
the ringside mat. Guerrero continued the assault and went for the Guerrero
Special, but Nova actually managed to flip out and deliver an armdrag. Nova
eventually went for the Kryptonite Krunch but Guerrero was able to counter
that with a backdrop. This set up a top rope centon bomb by Guerrero in
which Nova rolled out of the way, but as Nova went to hit Eddie, who was in
the corner, Guerrero pulled the ref in the way and Nova drilled the ref
sending him out cold. At this moment Damaja ran into the ring and blindsided
Nova with the Brain Damaj. Guerrero then followed with a top rope frog
splash and gained the pinfall as the ref was awakened, concluding another
superb night of Ohio Valley Wrestling action.

    -Winner via pinfall Eddie Guerrero
