-Another successful night of Ohio Valley Wrestling action. The Television
show known for its compelling in ring stories and fueds, and not for its
offensive disgusting vignettes. But that's another story. Was a packed house
tonight maybe a couple empty seats.

    -Nova vs. Badd Dogg
    NON-TITLE
    DARK MATCH

-On the card was Chris Nowinski to square off against Nova, and I'm pretty
sure I saw him at the arena, but apparently Badd Dogg didn't have a match. A
seemingly mixed reaction for Nova, as he made his way to the ring. There is
something about him that a lot of Davis Arena fans don't like, Jim Cornette
seemed a little disappointed with the reaction. Badd Dogg recieved 100%
negative heat from the crowd as the two opened up on each others arms. A
good match overall, nothing too spectactular, as Badd Dogg dominated most of
the offense. Eventually, Nova gained the victory by Disqualification as Badd
Dogg threw Nova over the top rope.

    -Winner via DQ Nova

-The show opened with the usual panning of the full house crowd pumped up
    for tonights show.

-Charlie Haas vs. Lance Cade w/ Kenny "the King" Bolin & Jerome Croney

-Haas started the attack by ramming the heads of Kenny Bolin and Jerome
Croney into each other, as Cade has apparently signed a deal with Bolin
Services. Haas opened the attack on the man that almost everyone in Davis
Arena was calling "Big Bird" with a huge Back Body Drop. Haas continued to
dominate his fast paced offense slamming Cade hard with a huge belly to
belly overhead suplex. Lance Cade did manage to get a few punches in, but
Charlie dominated him and eventually applied his finishing manuever the
'Haas of Pain'. Unfortunately, Jerome Croney ran in and interfered forcing
the referee to call for the bell, but Haas applied the 'Haas of Pain' to him
instead. Eventually, Kenny Bolin, Cade, as well as Sean O'Haire and Rene
Dupree who made the run in attacked Haas, making it 5 on 1. Immediately Big
Bossman stormed the ring and cleared house to make the save, which recieved
a tremendous ovation from the Davis Arena crowd. Charlie helped Bossman
finish up the work with a steel chair. After the match and a commercial
break Big Bossman, who was still recieving a huge chant and Charlie Haas
joined Jim Cornette next to the commentators table and set up a match
between the two of them against Lance Cade and Sean O'Haire, which I believe
is set to take place next week.

    -Winner via DQ Charlie Haas

    -Matt Morgan vs. Mark Magnus
    DARK MATCH

-Donna Derring was the referee for the match, who did well in riling up the
crowd a bit. Morgan opened on Magnus with the early take down, showing his
physical dominance. Magnus isn't necassarily the smallest of guys, but
really does look tiny next to Matt Morgan. Mark Magnus attempted to work on
the arm of Morgan, but apparently to no avail, as Morgan threw Magnus off of
him fast. Eventually Magnus took on a smarter task, of attempting to take
down Morgan starting with his legs, as he worked on Morgan's leg throughout
the remainder of the match. Morgan although showed his superior strength
after literally kneeing Magnus so hard in the cut that he flew into the air,
and followed with his finish the chokeslam to gain the three count.

    -Winner via pinfall Matt Morgan

    -Johnny Jeter vs. Rene Dupree

-Kenny "the King" Bolin, welcomed by a "Porky" chant announced Dupree to the
ring once again and Jerome Croney followed Dupree around, combing the 18
year olds hair. Jeter actually opened by taking Dupree down to the mat after
the tie up. Moments into the match Big Bossman and Charlie Haas stormed
through the entranceway being held back by many OVW wrestlers, as they tried
to get their hands on Bolin and the others. Bolin and Croney went and hid by
Dupree in the ring, as Bossman and Haas were eventually take to the back.
The match then continued as if nothing had happened with Dupree dominating
the offense in a very physical fashion, delivering very stiff body shots to
Jeter. Dupree continued the offense, every time he was taken down, he
immediately sprang up and delivered a huge clothesline to Jeter sending him
down hard to the mat. Dupree went for his finish the DVD into the DDT, but
Jeter managed to avoid it and made his way to his feet. Jeter then continued
his remorseful assualt on Dupree and delivered a huge spinkick. He then went
for his top rope spinkick, but Rene Dupree avoided his attack as Jeter
landed hard in the middle of the ring. Dupree then delivered his DVD/DDT
move and gained the pinfall and the win.

    -Winner via pinfall Rene Dupree

    -Mark Jindrak vs. Orlando Jordan
    DARK MATCH

-Jindrak opened off the offense with a quick drop toe hold to the OVW
newcomer, showing some impressive athletic talent in his third OVW match at
Davis Arena. There was a very nice reversal and counter spot early on, which
ended with Jindrak delivering a nice fall away slam. The match was overall
pretty slow and Jindrak ended up getting the pinfall with a top rope cross
    body block.

    -Winner via pinfall Mark Jindrak

-Jim Cornette was then joined in the ring by the returning OVW wrestler BJ
Payne. Cornette opened by discussing that Travis Bane was apparently the new
Deciple of Synn, and how BJ really didn't have too many friends in the
locker room because of his history with the DOS. Payne agreed to Cornette's
comments stating that he was 'about as popular as a bad case of crabs' to
the boys in the back, getting a good laugh out of the Davis Arena crowd. BJ
went on discussing that he know's all about Synn, making some sexual
references. He also stated that he wanted a piece of both Bane and Seven and
said that he had a partner to take them both on next week. Cornette decided
to book the match with out telling us his partner, for next week I believe.

    -Eric Angle vs. Chris K
    DARK MATCH

-This I believe is Eric Angle's first match since his injury many months
ago, and didn't look too bad in the ring against the OVW Trainee Chris K.
Overall a decent match with Angle working on the arm of Chris K. Very
reminiscent of the Japanese shoot style. Angle eventually won after a
fisherman's suplex, although it appeared the ref only count to two, the bell
    still rang.

    -Winner via pinfall Eric Angle

    -Doug Basham vs. Damaja
    RUN FOR THE RUMBLE
    TV MAIN EVENT

-Basham opened off the match with three armdrags out of tieups, and Damaja
appeared very upset, as Basham gained the immediate psychological advantage.
After an inverted facebuster delivered by Damaja, once he reversed the irish
whip the two immediately began trading slaps to the face. The two then began
brawling, understanding the important goal in this match, and that they both
wanted to be able to go on to the Royal Rumble. Johnny Spade came into the
ring and tried to break the two up, but to no avail as the two teamed up for
the moment, and threw Spade over the top rope, down to the hard Davis Arena
floor. Immediately, the two continued the brawl all around the ring and
Damaja eventually racked Basham across the top rope. There was then a
commercial break, as the two continued through the break, with Damaja
maintaining the offense with a headlock. The match continued and Damaja
suprisingly continued his assault on Basham, controlling almost the entire
offense, delivering shoulders and punches to his co-leader of The
Revolution. Damaja then went for the Vader Bomb on Basham, but Basham
managed to turn the tides on his partner delivering a kick to the face
blocking the move. Basham continued and went for a rollup, but only gained a
two count. Damaja tried for his finish, the Brain Damaj, but Basham
countered. Damaja although did managed to hit the move the second time, but
actually only managed to gain a two count. The ref was then knocked over a
bit, by accident, and Basham took the immediate advantage delivering a low
blow. Moments later Basham went for and his hit top rope diving head butt,
but still only managed to gain a two count. Victoria and Jackie Gayda made
their way out to the ringside area to watch the match, with the crowd
welcoming Gayda to another "Hot Tub Ho" chant. Eventually there was some
minor interference by Victoria which caused Damaja to be able to get the
pinfall over Basham, who didn't realize what happened until after he already
won. After this happened Victoria and Jackie got into a brawl on the
outside, as Damaja and Basham discussed what happend. Eventually, Victoria
was tossed into the ring, and every member of the Revolution attacked her,
which included a huge Brain Damaj by Damaja, as the cameras went off the air
concluding another great week in Ohio Valley Wrestling. I would assume this
is Victoria's last OVW show, on a regular basis.

    -Winner via pinfall Damaja
