WWE Sunday Night Heat Results – October 20, 2002
Live from the site of WWE No Mercy, Little Rock, Arkansas.

-Smackdown Main Event: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. The Undertaker, Hell in a Cell
-Raw Main Event: Intercontinental Champion Kane takes on World Champion Triple H, Winner-Take-All
-The Intercontinental Title is going away with its 20 years of history, but tonight, we’ll have, for the first time, Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
-Clips of the Smackdown Tag Team tournament are shown.
-The World Premere of Saliva’s new video is tonight
-Paul Heyman talks about the history of Hell in a Cell matches and how they shorten careers and how no one leaves the same as they walked in. It’s the most dangerous match in WWE. When Brock retains the title tonight, he’ll be a different man, and that bother’s Heyman.

-Commercials-

-November 12, the WWE Anthology CD comes out.

-This past Thursday was the casting special of Tough Enough III. They show highlights of that episode.

-Booker T & Goldust vs. Christian & Chris Jericho (World Tag Team Championships)
-RVD vs. Ric Flair
-Brock vs. ‘Taker hype. Timmy White hasn’t refereed since the last Hell in a Cell match 5 months ago. White says no one is a winner in these matches.

WWE Rewind: Trish attacks Victoria after their tag match last Monday

-Trish takes on Victoria tonight for the women’s title

-They show the Intercontinental Championship history from last Monday’s Raw.

-Saliva is coming out with a new CD. They worked with Jericho over a song called “King of the World.” Josey calls Jericho a jerk. They show the Saliva “Always” video.

-Undertaker gives an interview. They say he’s the master of the Hell in a Cell. He doesn’t know if that is a compliment or a curse. When people think of violence and chaos, they think of Hell in a Cell. He was the master when he shortened Shawn Michaels and Mic Foley’s career. What has he done to himself, and what will he have to do to finish Lesnar tonight. Two men enter, one has to come out. Who is the winner in that?

-Commercials-

WWE Slam of the Week: Knoble and Nidia take out Tajiri after he refs their match.

Hype:
-Jaime Knoble vs. Tajiri for the Cruiserweight Championship tonight
-Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie

-They show hype for Triple H vs. Kane. For the first time in his life, Kane can be happy. Freaks are cool. But Triple H accuses Kane of murder.

-Lesnar gives an interview. He’s excited for this match. He can enter HIAC and beat Undertaker in his own game, in his own yard. “Taker might be champ of HIACs, but he’s not entering WWE Champ, and he won’t leave WWE Champ. And he’s not even entering at 100%. Lesnar is NCAA Champ and WWE Champ, and he’s always risen to the occasion. He will leave tonight HIAC champ and WWE Champ.

Raw is live tomorrow night from Nashville.

The Hurricane vs. Steven Richards.

Richards is hailing, again, from Philadelphia, PA. Richards starts off beating on Hurricane. Hurricane tries a sunset flip, cover, and Richards kicks out. Richards gives a side suplex to the Hurricane. Suplex by Richards, cover, and Hurricane kicks out. Richards drives his knee into Hurricane’s back, and then he stretches Hurricane’s arms. Hurricane delivers a neckbreaker to Richards. Clothesline to Richards. Blockbuster by Hurricane. Flying scissors kick by Hurricane. Hurricane calls for a chokeslam. Superkick by Richards, cover, and Hurricane kicks out. Vertebreaker!!! by Hurricane for the victory.

Winner: The Hurricane

More hype for the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar match. Michael Cole and Tazz are standing in the ring hyping the Hell in the Cell Match. And we go to PPV.
