Yet another death has happened in the world of pro-wrestling.
Jay "Big Dottie" Caldwell was killed this past Saturday night in a tragic car accident. Reports indicate that Jay fell asleep behind the wheel after a very long day working. His car ran off the road and threw him from the vehicle.
Caldwell had worked for MCW on several occasions when they held shows on the eastern shore of Maryland. Caldwell was a student of former WCW wrestler Van Hammer. He also trained regularly with Mark & Jay Briscoe.
All of us at LOP would like to send our condolences out to the friends and family of Jay Caldwell.
To update the previous post about Hulk Hogan's WWE status, Hogan called into the Bubba the Love Sponge Radio Show today and confirmed that he is working for the WWE without a contract. He said that the WWE creative department didn't have anything for him right now and wasn't sure if/when he would be back.
