Hulk Hogan's WWE career in question?, Survivor Series poster, more Submitted by Matthew Tremley on Monday, September 30, 2002 at 3:53 PM EST
It's not looking for the future of Hulk Hogan in the WWE right now. It's being said that Hogan's WWE deal might already be fulfilled or that Hogan can option out of the deal early and become a free agent. Hogan's deal might only have been 6 months and not the year that was reported originally.
Hogan, who has been off WWE TV after losing to Brock Lesner a few weeks before Summerslam, was scheduled to work the WWE Australia tour in August but that fell through due to a pay dispute between himself and Vince McMahon.
Many think that Hogan will reappear sometime soon if only because his new autobiography will be coming out soon and since it's a joint publication with the WWE, both Hogan and the WWE will want to promote the book. Even JR has never made mention of Hogan in his Ross Reports since Hogan left. Also another interesting twist is that Hogan's nephew Horace Hogan was just recently released by the WWE.
