WWE Sunday Night Heat Results – September 29, 2002

Commentators: D’lo Brown & Coach

D’lo Brown vs. Shawn Stasiak

Coach is commentating alone for this match. D’lo says that for the past 4 months, he’s been commentating and trying to do his best. But the call of the “D’lo Nation” is too strong. So he’s going to be in the ring from now on, and he’ll induct new members into the sky high hall of fame. (This is also Shawn Stasiak’s last match in WWE, for a while at least, according to Jim Ross.)
Stasiak attacks D’lo from the back. An elbow knocks down D’lo. Back drop to Stasiak. Stasiak drops D’lo on the top rope. Stasiak hits a neck breaker, then a cover, to D’lo. D’lo kicks out. Snapmare to D’lo and a shot to the back. Spinebuster to D’lo, cover, and D’lo kicks out. Stasiak applies an abdominal stretch, and grabs the top rope. Hip toss by D’lo. Heel kick, powerslam and the leg drop by D’lo to Stasiak. There’s a cover, but Stasiak kicks out at 2. D’lo suplexes Stasiak. D’lo hits the sky high on Stasiak for the 1,2,3. (buh bye Shawn.)

Winner: D’lo Brown

-Last Monday, Booker & Goldust replay Stephanie’s “HLA” at Unforgiven to some of the Raw locker room. Rico snitches on them to Eric Bischoff. Booker bad mouths Bischoff in the ring, then Rosey, Jamal, and Rico attack Booker. Goldust tries to make the save. Later that night, Booker beats Rico in a match. Jamal and Rosey decimate Booker and Goldust. Tomorrow night, a match was set up: Rosey & Jamal vs. Booker T & Goldust in Booker’s hometown of Houston.

WWE Slam of the Night: Randy Orton jumps ship to Raw and wins a match.

Johnny Stamboli vs. Justin Credible

They lockup to start off. Justin applies a headlock, and Stamboli escapes. Stamboli hip tosses Justin, slams Justin, then drop kicks Justin. Justin chops Stamboli in the corner. Stamboli powerslams Justin. Justin almost DDTs Stamboli. Justin crotches himself into the corner, after a missed baseball slide. Stamboli has the advantage, then an atomic drop, heel kick to Credible. Cover, and Credible kicks out. Stamboli hits fuh-get-about-it for the win.

Winner: Johnny Stamboli

-They show clips of the Wrestlemania XIX press conference in Seattle, WA.

Recap: Lat Monday, Kane and The Hurricane defeat the Un-Americans, Lance Storm and Christian, for the WWE Tag Team Championships

WWE Boot of the Week: Ric Flair turns heel at Unforgiven by attacking RVD w/ a sledgehammer in RVD’s World Title match with Triple H.

Recap: Clips of last Monday’s Raw are shown. Flair wants to end his career, along side Triple H, on top just like he began it. Ric Flair and Triple H attack RVD. Bubba Ray Dudley comes to RVD’s aid. Bischoff sanctions a tag team match with the four men. Flair and Triple H win the match.

Raven vs. Spike Dudley

They lockup to start off. Spike tries a school boy cover early, but Raven kicks out. Spike with a leg scissors take down. Spike stomps on Raven in the corner. Spike battering rams Raven in the midsection. Snapmare to Spike. Raven drops a knee onto Spike’s shoulder. Spike hits a chinbreaker to Raven. Spike goes for the Dudley Dog, but Raven clotheslines him, and Raven drives Spike’s head into the mat. Spike hits the Dudley Dog, cover, and the victory. Raven hits the Raven Effect on Spike, after the match.

Winner: Spike Dudley
