A cruiserweight wrestler named Spanky is scheduled to come in for a look by the WWE on their October 7th and 8th tapings.
Yesterday on WWBA in Tampa, Dusty Rhodes did a radio appearance with Shannon Rose. In the appearance, Dusty blames the current state of the business on fans thinking they are smart but are really not. He mentioned that he was unable to secure a TV deal for his company but wants to keep it local. Also, the company will tour only in small areas. He also put over Steve Corino.
On October 19th in Queens at the Elks Lodge, USA Pro Wrestling will be putting on a show that will feature Jerry Lynn vs. A.J. Styles vs. Amazing Red and the winner of that match will take on Xavier for the X-Treme Championship. Also, Balls Mahoney will face off against Gangrel, Jay Briscoe will take on Mark Briscoe, and in the battle of former Triple Threat members, Chris Candido will take on "The Beast From the East" Bam Bam Bigelow.
Kurt Angle will be appearing with Secretary of State Mark Kiffmeyer in a statewide PSA in Minnesota. This will be for the Smackdown your Vote campaign.
