There is an interesting story on the offical site of Sports Illustrated in which the decline of the WWE is discussed along with a chart of the fall of the WWE stock prices.

The Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT has reported that the UFC show that will be there tomorrow hasn't been sold out but the advance was said to have been strong. Everyone on the card is healthy and so far there hasn't been any changes in the line-up. The show's main event will be Randy Couture vs. Ricco Rodriguez for the vacated heavyweight title plus many more exciting bouts.
Wrestling fans will be in for a treat down in Tampa-St.Pete, FL because Flordia Wrestling Classics, which will be a new TV show airing 70's and 80's matches from the old Championship Wrestling from Flordia promotion, will begin airing every Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on Ch. 38 hosted by Mike Graham.
In Columbus, IN at the 4-H Family Arts Building on October 15th, the Hoosier Pro Wrestling will be putting on a show headlined by none other than the father of the Rock: Rocky Johnson.
All Access Wrestling will be in Lafayette, LA on November 10 at the Robincheaux Center at 6 p.m. and will be featuring a card filled with many wrestlers known to fans all around the world. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will square off against Kamala. Also, there will be an eight-man tournament to crown a first champion. The people involved are: Kevin Northcutt, Malice, Joe Kane, Terry Taylor, Buddy Landel, Sassy Vegas, Elix Skipper, and Norman Smiley. Also in what should be a high flying encounter, A.J. Styles & David Young will square off against the Flying Elvis's.
On October 5th in Portland, ME at the Expo Building, Main Event Wrestling will be in town and on the card will be: current WWE superstar & commentator Jerry "The King" Lawler, former WWE and current NWA-TNA superstar Brian Lawler, Reckless Youth, Tiger Khan, Chi Chi Cruz, and more.
