Vince called to testify in Bass court case, Laurer vs. Chono, more Submitted by Matthew Tremley on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 5:01 PM EST
In the ongoing sexual harassment case brought against the WWE by former WWE & ECW star Nicole Bass, Vince McMahon himself took the stand today in NYC to testify. McMahon stated that the case was just a smear campaign against his company. In one qoute, McMahon stated: "You're just trying to throw dirt against the wall, trying to make something stick" in reference to Bass's case against the WWE. When asked about Bass's release from the WWE, McMahon stated: "She just didn't have the coordination to develop her skills. In our business, she was not a world-class athlete." and also that Bass had "two left feet".
Masahiro Chono, who will be facing former WWE star Joanie Laurer at the October 14th New Japan Pro Wrestling Tokyo Dome show, stated during a press conference today to hype the event that he promised to damage Laurer's face and breast implants (if necessary) in order to defeat her at the event. Up until now, Laurer has been wrestling in 6 man tag team matches. My advice to Joanie would be to wear a steel bra during the match.
