WWE House Show Results from Billings, Montana 9-15-02

    I apologize for sending this in so late, I came back Monday night and havent been near a computer and when finally checking for results for the houseshow there was none so i figured I would do my honorable duty of reporting the results. WWE has not been to the state of Montana in thirteen years and I think I know why. Well first of all they had two house shows for Billings on Saturday and Bozeman Montana on Sunday. Well the day i recieved my tickets for the Bozeman show in the mail, the WWE cancelled i'm guessing for poor ticket sales. When i got to the Metra Park arena, we got in right to the merchandise table where i figured might as well save a few bucks and buy the stuff i want and save the shipping and handling through shopzone. Well needless to say around $130.00 later and four shirts, bobblehead and a necklace later lol. It was showtime, the Fink comes out to a loud half full house. Talks about no camcorders, laser pens and crap and no throwing stuff in the ring.


    First Match
    Kidman vs Tajiri
    Kidman won via Shooting Star Press

    Second Match
    Six Man Tag
    D'Von, Bull Buchanan,Albert vs.Bautista, Mark Henry and Shannon Moore
    Pretty good stalling match they kept Shannon Moore in the ring until Moore put the dreaded chest hair pull and the rarely seen Back Hair pull to make the tag to Mark Henry, I do believe the team of Bautista, Henry and Moore won, with Bautista picking up the victory with his spinebuster on D'von

    The Fink then announces a special guest announcer Funaki, Funaki started to brag about how good Billings was #1 and then he proceeds to bring out Torrie Wilson. Torrie Wilson looks screaming hot talks for a few moments but she was kinda hard to understand and then out comes Nidia, Nidia makes fun of Billings and then Torrie defends us. Quickly Nidia gets depants and see her thong, as she runs out of the ring and heads to the back.

    Third Match
    Brock Lesnar (Champion) vs. Edge for WWE Championship
    Typical taping match except for Lesnar stalling outside the ring and throwing the steps down the entry way. Brock through Edge into the ropes, Edge came back and speared the ref. Brock grabbed a chair from outside, and came in and got speared for his effort even though the ref was out. Brock finally won with the F-5. On a side note my girlfriend that i was with, a guy she works with at toys r us his girlfriend is a cousin of Lesnar. I'm begging for an autograph but i dont think its getting me the autograph.

    Fourth Match
    John Cena and Big Valbowski vs. Eddie and Chavo Guerrero
    Pretty good match, where the Guerrero's had the ref distracted so Cena and Valbowski could make the legal tag, but the ref didnt see it, so they had to go back to their corner, the Guerrero's won via Brainbuster suplex from Chavo on Cena

    Intermission
    During the whole intermission was the only time my life i was either deaf or had a mute button on large remote control. All they played was Jericho's Fozzy band. I like stuck mojo ( the name of the band without Jericho) but with him it sucks, i enjoyed their first album but this one belongs in the crapper.

    Fifth Match
    Hardcore Holly and Randy Orton vs. Chuck and Billy
    Hardcore and Orton came out together to Holly's music to a good ovation and Chuck and Billy came out to a resounding boo's and chants of Faggots and other words i 'm not mentioning. Chuck knocked Orton senseless with a move I havent seen him use on tv. Suprised me no cloth robes and new tights and they werent matching their boots together.

    Sixth Match
    Rey Mysterio vs Jamie Noble (Cruiserweight Champion)
    This is the only reason i drove six hours to see Mysterio. Mysterio came out to one of the loudest pops of the night. Great Match for just a houseshow. Rey pulled out his good moves including the 619, but my favorite moves had to be where Noble through him on the ropes, Mysterio balanced on the top rope and jumped reverse on to Nobles head into a huracurana. The other new move i know he hasnt pulled on tv yet, its hard to explain but it's kinda like a sunset flip into a powerbomb. Very kickass move, Nidia was on the ring apron and Torrie ran to the ring and attacked her and go the ref distracted and then Noble won with a Liger Bomb. After the match Torrie had Nidia lined for Rey's bronco buster and Torrie wanted to it and she did and almost fell out of her top. Quickly Nidia got out of the ring and Noble jumped in the same position and begged Torrie to give him the bronco buster, and Torrie bent over and Rey leap frogged her and gave him the bronco buster. Torrie and Rey hugged and raised each other's hand and left

    Seventh Match
    Matt Hardy vs. The Hurricane
    The woman i was with took a roll of film on Matt Hardy. Usual smackdown match, All their moves from eye of the hurricane, and the move i cant remember what he calls it but its the buff blockbuster, i wish he would have brought back the vertebreaker. Hurricane beat Hardy cleanly, i dont remember how. After the match they shook hands, and went into the corners for the crowds admiration, they met in the middle and then Matt suckerpunched the Hurricane, and then gave him the twist of fate and then got on the house mic and told him that he was taking it easy and he took advantage of him, and said he would never be his friend again.

    Main Event
    Kiss my Ass Match
    Rikishi vs. Kurt Angle

    Good main event. Kurt Angle got the you suck chants and oddly enough Rikishi got probably the loudest pop of the night. Rikishi and Angle went toe to toe. Rikishi got the better of him. Rikishi did usual moves including the butt drop from the second rope but Angle had his hand on the rope so they restarted the match. Angle finally hit the Angle slam and it was over. Angle got the mic and told Rikishi to kiss his gold medal olympic ass. He still refused when Billy Gunn knocked down Rikishi from behind and told him he had to kiss Angles Olympic ass. Rikishi fought back and splashed both of them in teh corner and game them the double stinkface. I decided to leave but i heard teh music playing and i believe he danced with the referee Brian Hebner. I wish they would come back but now i'm gonna try and get Wrestlemania tickets in Seattle cause that's only an eight hour drive

    Quick side notes, I almost killed a few people there, i heard ONE guy yelling Goldberg just one guy not many just one lol. A couple of guys behind me starting yelling at the referee about "doing his job" obviously they do not watch wrestling much. I almost killed some people in front of me, They had a Jericho foam hand and everytime a good move or somebody they would raise so i couldnt take a picture. I was disappointed at the merchandise stand, no Mysterio shirts, and mostly rock, taker, and HHH and Dvon shirts and that was mostly hit a few pictures, mousepad, and one poster of Torrie Wilson. Not many hats, Hardys stuff what so ever, But all in all I will go to WWE again if they are in Montana or close by.
