Steiner didn't pass physicals, More WWE gay angles, Macho Man; and more

  • Hulk Hogan was a guest on the Bubba Love Sponge show last week. He was asked about some recent rumors regarding Randy Savage returning to the WWE, and to that Hogan said, "I hope not, I hate that son of a bitch."

  • This is not the only time an attempt was made by WWE to exploit gay weddings on their television shows. Back when Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty were the team of Too Cool, Christopher was asked to be part of a gay wedding angle with Scotty. The request was outright refused. Billy Gunn apparently wasn’t very thrilled with the gay angle, but he was willing to go along with it due to the fact that if he didn’t, he would have to pay in the long run.

  • The Rock won’t be part of WWE storylines again until next year after Royal Rumble, when the company starts hyping up the WrestleMania PPV event.

  • In what comes to be a major update in the Scott Steiner/WWE rumors, sources are reporting that Steiner has not passed WWE sponsored physicals despite what has been previously reported and said to be known. In fact, as of this time there is no interest in Steiner due to mainly health concerns among other things. Steiner is said to actually want to work for WWE due to the fact that he had a bit of a falling out with the Jarrett family and NWA-TNA earlier this summer. The only other options for Steiner right now would be to try and land a spot on upcoming tours with New Japan Pro Wrestling (which he made appearances for quite recently), and to wait for upcoming WWA tours, if they ever take off. In a recent Ross Report, Jim Ross stated that there had been no conversations with Steiner, and none were expected to take place anytime in the future. Take this for what you will.
