Combat Zone Wrestling "Ultraviolent Freedom of Expression" Results 9-14-02

Combat Zone Wrestling held their big monthly show at Viking Hall in Philadelphia this past Saturday drawing anywhere from 750-900. It certainly was a great show that contained many surprises. For more information on CZW, check out CZWWrestling.com.

- Hurricane Kid and Towel Boy fought to a no contest against Derek Frazer and Sonjay. Justice Pain made his way to the ring and cleared house. He beat the crap out of Towel Boy, who was the only one who didn't run initially. He said he shouldn't be in the same ring as "these guys". This led to a far confrontation between Lobo and his posse (who were near the announcers and DJ) and Justice Pain in the ring.
- M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition was the next match. Some amazing spots here and the match was just all around excellent. The two biggest spots were M-Dogg's 450 onto Prohibition who was on the table on the outside and the second, which was truly amazing, when M-Dogg climbed the pole at ringside, did a few chin-ups on the ceiling, and then climbed back onto the pole and propelled himself onto Josh Prohibition who was laying on the bell-keeper's table at ringside. Truly an amazing move, and it really popped the fans! This ended the match, as Prohibition could not compete any longer. As both men struggled to walk to the back, they each received a standing ovation.
- New School took on Softcore Connection in the next match. This was really a great match, and ended with Street and Berk getting double pins when they both hit a variation of a double hook suplex on New School members Chri$ and Ca$h and GQ. Despite being greatly handicapped in this one by International Male Jimmy Washington, Street and Berk still were able to pull out the win. This seemed like a tornado style tag match because there were no tags whatsoever.
- Jimmy Rave beat Ruckus in the next match. Before the match, Jimmy Rave was announced as the newest member to NWA Wildside and was accompanied to the ring by Jeff Bailey. Once this match spilled out to the floor, it went everywhere. Ruckus took Rave around the bleacher and over near the snack bar. Ruckus ran Rave into the soda machine three times, and as to say that wasn’t enough, he climbed up on it, and did a moonsault off onto Jimmy Rave. Ruckus moved the match back to the ring but Jimmy Rave got the win when the Lost Boys came down and annihilated Ruckus. Jeff Bailey was distracting the ref so he didn’t see the Lost Boys’ actions at all.
- After the bell to the previous match sounded, H8 Club made their way to the ring and the next match between CZW and Wildside began. In what was a very good match, Nick Gage and Nate Hatred kept the crowd pumped through the entire thing. This went to a no contest however, due to interference by T-N-T.
- This immediately brought out the Backseat Boyz to start off the next match. Backseat and T-N-T held an excellent match, where BSB got the pin over T-N-T. They did their crucifix move onto T-N-T, and following this, it seemed the Backseat had this one. Acid and Kashmere took out one member of TNT by the stage by putting him through a table, and then they got the pinfall on the other one in the ring. After the match, they gave the crucifix move to Jeff Bailey, which brought out Softcore Connection. They did the same four way kick onto Bailey as they did at the last show. Not as good as a pop though because Bailey ducked at first, and they gave it to him slow.
- Coming back from intermission, we kicked things off with the Irish Drinking Team. The regular ring announcer bribed anyone that if they would come out and beat up Jimmy Washington, he would give them the contents of the cooler (…see where this is going??) The Irish Drinking Team came out and beat up Washington and received a nice keg of beer! The Rachies made their way to the ring and begun the match. The keg was used often throughout as a weapon for both teams. Jon Dahmer made his way out to the ring towards the end of the match, revived IDT, and thus, causing Knoxx and Stylz to get the win over the Rachies.
- Next up, Justice Pain made his way to the ring for his huge World title match. Z-Barr came down and whispered to the ring announcer who to announce as his opponent. The ring announcer announced CM Punk as his opponent and he made his way out to the ring!!! What a great match this was. CM put up a hell of a fight, and he will almost definitely be brought back. Justice Pain got the win in this one with his finisher. After the match, Pain got on the mic and put over Punk saying he was “true competition”. Punk and Pain received excellent ovations, especially the new comber CM Punk.
- Finally, the main event of the evening was about to take place. The ring crew lined the ropes with tack boards, and threw barbed wire boards (2) on the outside. One of the boards was on top of a table. Necro Butcher made his way to the ring first, followed by Wifebeater and Big Mac Smack. After five minutes of total domination by WB, Mr. Insanity Toby Klein made his way to the ring to even the sides. This is after WB stapled Necro twice and used several of the tack boards on him. After a terrible handicap by both men, “Last Resort” banged over the PA system and Sick Nick Mondo made his way to the ring in full attire with a mic. He said that they should make it a tag team match. It was made one, and it began immediately with Klein and Necro taking the advantage on Mondo while WB was down on the outside. The match soon got into tag format, but it didn’t stay that way for long. After some time, the match went completely to the outside with full use of chairs, the tack boards, the barbed wire boards and the table. Big Mac Smack even had a few light tubes which WB used to his advantage. However, WB was also put through the barbed wire boarded table as well. Back in the ring the action went. The barbed wire boards were brought into the ring and greatly used to WB and Mondo’s advantage. WB slaughtered Necro Butcher with the board, shoving it into his head, and trying to gain a pinfall. The barbed wire got caught in his hair and Mondo and WB threw some chairs at the board to get it off. After some more battling with the board on Necro Butcher, ring crew brought out a full pane of glass. WB and Mondo laid Necro Butcher under the glass, which was positioned between two chairs. Sick Nick got to the top and did a leg drop, catapulting himself through the glass onto Necro Butcher for the three count. After the match, Rebel, Z-Barr, Greg Matthews, and the Rachies ran to the ring and demolished WB and “Sick” Nick Mondo. As they were continuing the attack, The Messiah ran down to the ring and declared war on all of the men in the ring. He totally cleared the ring with WB and Mondo. Soon thereafter, a huge Messiah chant broke out and he got on the mic.
Justice Pain made his way to the ring, and hugged Messiah as did Wifebeater and Nick Mondo. The Messiah talked about the attack, saying he wasn’t going to point fingers, but whoever did it, couldn’t get the job done! He gave a little speech about how he carried XPWho? by kicking everyone in the companies asses including New Jack and Sabu. A huge F*** Rob Black chant broke out, but he said he never wanted to hear that name said in the building. He told them to chant “CZW” and they did. He said that outside of the ring, every guy in that locker room was watching his back. He said he could trust and believe everything in guys like Mondo, WB, Justice Pain, New School, H8 Club, Backseat Boyz….even Lobo and Zandig. He named almost the whole roster, at which time, all the men made their way to the ring. They all got in the ring, hugged and shook hands with Messiah and the ring was full. Gage and Hatred called the crowd to chant “CZW” louder and it was soon booming in the arena. The speech was very emotional, and it just proved why CZW is better than all of the rest. All of the men showed their support for Messiah and they all walked back to the locker room to end the show.
