    - The feeling throughout the backstage and the management about Shawn Michaels' performance last night was nothing short of incredible. A lot of the wrestlers who were around when HBK was still wrestling remembered how great of a worker he was by watching him in the ring last night. Many expected Michaels to take it easy in the ring, but he let it all go as he used basically everything to his offense. After the match, Michaels was said to be feeling fine backstage.

    - Summerslam had been blacked out on Comcast Cable in Detroit, Michagan and in Montgomery County, Maryland.

    - SummerSlam drew 14,797 fans in attendance. WWE set a record gross at the Nassau County Coliseum of $863,625.
