Opening fireworks display for Velocity is done.

Lita comes down to the announce table and puts the headsets on to help Marc Loyd with the commentary for Velocity.

Mark Henry beat Mike Awesome via powerslam.

Tajiri beat Funaki via kick to the face.

Chuck w/ Billy & Rico beat Hardcore Holly via interference from Billy's sideslam which enabled Chuck to get the easy pin. After the match Randy Orton runs down and clears the ring. Orton gets on the mic and calls the trio back down to the ring. Orton and Holly clear the ring once again. Billy and Chuck walk up the ramp making fun of Holly. Orton issues a challenge to Billy. Billy accepts and the match is started.

Randy Orton w/ Hardcore Holly beat Billy w/ Chuck & Rico via interference from Holly's Alabama slam which enabled Orton to get the easy pin.

Tazz and Michael Cole come down to the announce table for Smackdown.

***SMACKDOWN***


Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman come to the ring. Heyman gets on the mic. I would like you to consider the fact because I assure you that Lesnar is aware of these facts. He is the #1 box office attraction in WWE Entertainment. The biggest star in the history of Smackdown. The #1 action star in Hollywood today. They feature him on Entertainment Tonight. He is the Undisputed Champion. And while you people may think that I am talking about The Rock. Everything I said used to apply to Hulk Hogan. A legend. A God. An icon. Who's career is now dead. Dead I might add, at the hands of the next big thing Brock Lesnar. And while you boo Lesnar because of your jealousy, just like Hogan's career is now over. The very same thing will happen to the Rock at SummerSlam. My client has a gift for you this evening. because my client wants Rock to have just a little taste of SummerSlam. before tonight is over we will guarantee that Lesnar will collide with Rock tonight. Lesnar gets on the mic. You know what I smell? You know how I feel? I feel the same way the night I fought Hogan. I'm gonna make the Rock cry like a little bitch.

If ya smell...Rock comes out to the top of the stage with a mic in hand and his title in the other. Night after night Rock has come out here and told you to bring it. All your hype so far your big jacked up monkey ass has brought nothing. Tonight will be a night like no other. No trash talking tonight. Since you refuse to bring it to the Rock. The Rock will just have to bring it to you. As far as Rock is concerned, this night is already over.

Rock runs to the ring after Lesnar but before he can make it he is cut off by Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Benoit puts the crippler crossface on Rock at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Lesnar and Heyman laugh in the ring.

Backstage, Edge arrives to the arena and is sneak attacked by Benoit and Guerrero.

Shannon Moore and The Hurricane beat Tajiri and Jamie Noble w/ Nidia via Moore rollup on Noble. After the match Hurricane clears the ring from the double team on Moore. Matt Hardy runs out 1 minute too late to make the save.

Backstage, Stephanie asks Benoit and Guerrero why they attacked Rock and Edge earlier. Stephanie says by attacking those two it puts the SummerSlam card in jeapordy. Stephanie says that if Rock and Edge can not compete at SummerSlam, Benoit and Guerrero will take a cut in pay. Benoit asks Stephanie about last week how she asked him to make the Rock squeal. Stephanie says maybe so but she did not give them permission to do so tonight. Stephanie says she will protect her Smackdown main event tonight. Edge sneak attacks Benoit and Guerrero. Edge demands Stephanie to make the main event tonight be Edge and Rock vs Benoit and Guerrero. Stephanie agrees.

Backstage, Matt Hardy talks with Hurricane and Moore. Hurricane tells Matt to calm down because he is too excited. Matt walks to the gorilla position and ask them to hit his music. Matt walks out to the ring and poses for the crowd. Chavo Guerrero's music starts up. Chavo walks out to the top of the stage with a mic in hand. I don't know who you think you are wasting everyone's time trying to suck up to everybody. You think you get such a great reaction? Listen up white boy. See what kind of reaction you get after you lose to me. An impromptu match is started...

Chavo Guerrero beat Matt Hardy via rollup. Matt was distracted from the teaser Kane fireworks explosion. After the match Matt argues with the referee to reverse the decision since it is his hometown. The referee will have none of it.

Backstage, Funaki says he will go into the women's locker room after the commercial break for an interview. Or as he put it, a place that no man has ever been before.

Backstage, Funaki enters the women's locker room. Nidia has her bare back to the camera. Molly Holly walks up and tells Funaki that he needs to leave because she could have been changing. Nidia tells Molly that Funaki is there to admire her breasts. Nidia puts her bra on. Molly tells Nidia that she is loose. Nidia says that she is not loose, but she is open. Nidia issues a challenge to Molly. If she can beat Molly tonight for the title she will flash the audience. Molly says that will not happen because she will win. Molly leaves. Nidia squuezes her breasts together inches away from Funaki's face.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio does a interview saying he can hang with Kurt Angle. Angle walks up and says he has requested a match with Mysterio's fellow cruiserweight - Billy Kidman, so Mysterio can see what he is getting in to. Angle says if he sees Mysterio down at the ring tonight he will break his ankle.

Billy Kidman beat Kurt Angle via countout when Angle went chasing after Mysterio, who had earlier interfered. Angle tried to make it back in time but failed. After the match Angle attacks Kidman some more and leaves.

Brock Lesnar is advertised for Confidential this Saturday. Clips are showed of his work out regimine.

Backstage, the doctor taped up the Rock's ribs. Edge walks in and asks Rock if he is alright. Rock says he is ok. Rock talks about what he will do to Lesnar at SummerSlam, and to Benoit and Guerrero tonight.

Rikishi and John Cena beat Reverend D-Von and Batista via Rikishi bonzai drop on Dvon. Batista seconds earlier gave Dvon a spinebuster and left the ring. This set up for the bonzai drop.

Backstage, Noble and Nidia are walking the hallway, on their way to the ring for Nidia's match with Molly. With her back to the camera, Nidia flashes an old man sitting in a chair while Noble watches.

WWE Women's Championship - Molly Holly beat Nidia w/ Jamie Noble via the molly-go-round. After the match Noble gets on the mic and tells Nidia she got robbed. Noble tells her to flash anyway. As Nidia was starting to take off her shirt, Molly re-enters the ring and shoves Noble into Nidia.

Stephanie comes out to the top of the stage with a mic in hand. Stephanie says that what Smackdown has to offer to SummerSlam far outweighs the Raw contributions. Stephanie promises the Smackdown wrestlers will steal the show. A video preview montage is shown of the SummerSlam card. Nothing new from what is posted HERE.

Backstage, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman watch on a monitor as Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero come to the ring for the main event against Rock and Edge.

Edge and The Rock beat Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero via Edge spear on Guerrero. After the match Lesnar enters the ring and stares at Rock. Rock tells Edge to leave the ring. Rock gets in Lesnar's face. Both men start trading punches. Lesnar backs Rock into the corner with shoulder blocks to the ribs. Rock knocks Lesnar out of the ring. Lesnar comes back in and gets knocked out of the ring once more. Heyman holds Lesnar back. Heyman and Lesnar walk to the back.

Edge comes back in the ring. Rock hugs Edge and raises his hand. Edge walks to the back. Rock gets on the mic. Rock says he is not leaving until he says 2 things -
1. Finally, The Rock has come back to Fayetteville!

Before he can get to #2 he changes his mind. Rock says he is gonna get one of the millions to come in the ring and say, If ya smell what the Rock is cooking.

2. Rock brings an 8 year old boy into the ring. Rock asks the boy if he like pie. Rock tells the crowd he was talking about apple pie, all you sick sob's out there. The little boy says he has never had pie before. Rock tells the little boy to stay away from pie because it will get him into trouble every time. Rock gets everyone in the arena to chant the little boy's name - Mitchell. The little boy asks if he can wear Tazz's glasses. Tazz hands them to the boy. Rock hands the mic to the boy and he says, "If you smell what the Rock is cooking"...

The boy goes back to his mother. Rock gets on the turnbuckles and salutes the crowd. Rock leaves the ring and hugs the boy's mother and shakes the father's hand. Rock leaves to the back.
