The Big Valbowski learned today that he did not suffer any spinal damage as a result of his gym accident that occured earlier this month. However, Valbowski did suffer contusions, tears and ligiment pulls in his neck which will cause him to miss at least three weeks. For more on the story, click HERE.
Kurt Angle, Tazz, Lita, Terri and Scotty Too Hotty will all take part in a charity benefit for Arielle Yedder, a nine year old cancer victim, this Friday at Merriam Motors in Wallingford, Connecticut. There will be a fee for autographs but all proceeds will go to the Yedder family. WWE is also donating 200 Summerslam pay-per-view posters to give away. The X-Division showdown the world has been waiting to see will finally take place this Wednesday night, as the “repect me” feud between AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn finally comes to a boiling point.
Last week, Jerry Lynn asked for a falls count anywhere match with Styles. Styles countered by asking for a no disqualification match with Jerry Lynn. The NWA decided to grant both men their matches. This Wednesday night it will be the Lynn vs. Styles in a best of three falls match. If a third fall is necessary, the NWA has ruled that these two will finish their battle in an iron match match. The winner of this contest will receive a shot at the X-Division title.
Brian Lawler showed up accusing Jeff Jarrett of doing something, but what it was specifically still remains a mystery. Will Lawler finally reveal what he is so upset at Jarrett about?
