NWA-TNA notes, Nash comments on indy booking, and more

    One of the dark matches for the NWA-TNA show tonight will be a tag team match, Brian Lee & David Young vs Chris Harris & James Storm. Many will remember Brian Lee as the fake Undertaker in 1994, and some might remember him from his feuds with Tommy Dreamer in ECW.

    NWA-TNA is very happy with Ron "The Truth" Killings, since he's really come a long way. Jim Ross recently commented on Ron Killings by saying "We would enjoy working with Killings again if and when there were creative plans for him." NWA-TNA rest assures that wether the WWE has creative plans for him or not, Ron is signed to a long term contract with the NWA-TNA and he isn't going anywhere.

    News for Canadian fans: Viewer's Choice Canada will be showing the August 21 and 28 NWA-TNA shows. As for the month of September, they will show the September 18 and 25 shows. NWA isn't airing a show on September 11, meaning the only show that will not be aired on Viewer's Choice is the September 4th show. The NWA-TNA is working and trying to get full clearance with Viewer's Choice Canada for all their shows.

  • Kevin Nash has confirmed that independent promotions advertising autograph appearances with Nash are false. Nash had the following to say regarding the September Newark, New Jersey advertisement that has been going around:

    "I have not made any agreements with anybody for appearances. I have no clearance from my office, or a medical clearance to do anything of the sort at this time."
