Hello and welcome to yet another episode in a long running series of WWE Classics, in which we go back in time for repeats of Wrestling Challenge. With Wrestlemania IV well and truly done and dusted there seems to be little going on, but i'm sure they'll find something for us. Let's see how this one unfolds.

Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are our commentators for today's show, and welcome us to the Prarie Capital Convention Centre in Springfield, Illinois. After the introduction video it is announced that on today's show will be The British Bulldogs, Ravishing Rick Rude, Koko B. Ware, Ted DiBiase, The Honky Tonk Man, and a further Wrestlemania IV report. Let's head down to ringside.

    Match #1
Ravishing Rick Rude (w/ Bobby Heenan) vs. Brady Boone
Before the match gets underway Monsoon informs us that Heenan has a special surprise for this week's show, and he questions as to whether or not this will be unleashed during the course of this match. Rick Rude grabs the microphone and asks for the music to be cut, and then asks for all the out of shape, overweight couch potatoes to keep the noise down whilst he disrobes, so that the ladies can concentrate on his simply ravishing body. The bell sounds and they lock up, and Rude shoves Boone down onto the mat almost immediately, before posing for the crowd and for those watching at home. They go to lock up again but this time Boone is the quicker, as he manages to get in a drop toe hold before Rude can get in any contact with him. They stand up and Rude delivers a kick to Boone, and then elbows him back into the turnbuckle. He then whips Boone into the opposite corner, and follows up with a clothesline. Meanwhile, the WWF camera crew have been asking young ladies at ringside what they feel about Rick Rude, and whilst one lady says he's definitely not the sexiest man alive, another claims that just by looking at his body you can tell how sexy is - and you can see the lust in her eyes. Back in the ring, Rude delivers the "Rude Awakening" finisher to Boone and scores the simple pinfall victory. After the match, Heenan enters the ring to congratulate his man, and then grabs a microphone, asking for the music to be turned down a little. He says that he has a treat for all the ladies, as from now on, one lucky female from the audience will be picked to enter the ring with Rick, and be kissed by him as well. Many volunteers step up for this, and eventually six pieces of trash assemble in the ring and line up along the ropes. Rude then looks them up and down from several angles, and then settles for a blonde haired lady, who must have been in her late thirties. He then proceeds to slip her the tongue, leaving her rolling around on the mat like a cheap prostitute.
Winner - Ravishing Rick Rude via pinfall, at 01:10

Mean Gene Okerlund is over at the WWF events centre with more analysis from Wrestlemania IV, which saw Randy Savage crowned as the new WWF Champion. He claims that he could not have achieved this without the help of Elizabeth, and Okerlund calls her a "sweetheart". In addition to this, Demolition also defeated Strike Force for the tag team titles, and Smash says that they're not so pretty anymore, before Axe adds that the losers are feeling upset, but they'll eventually have to step back in the ring, and once they do, it's not going to be pretty. Tito Santana responds and says that he didn't know that Mr. Fuji would interfere in the match, and Rick Martel says that they have worked too hard to simply give up the hunt for the tag team titles.

    Match #2
Koko B. Ware vs. Jerry Hall
Bobby Heenan has now returned to the commentary booth, claiming that he had a little trouble backstage as a result of Rick Rude choosing one of the girls. Apparently out of the five that didn't get picked, one has threatened to jump off the roof, and another two have left their boyfriends and are screaming back there. Monsoon comments on the entire situation saying, "That was sort of disgusting I thought", before Heenan responds by proclaiming, "Yes, they shouldn't act like that"! The bell sounds and they lock up, and Hall backs Koko into the ropes. He then goes to throw a right hand but completely misses, as Koko ducks out of trouble, and then follows up with a hiptoss, followed by three consecutive armdrags. Hall then backs off, and falls out of the ring to take a short breather. We go to pre-recorded comments from Koko who says that he is on a "weasel hunt", as a result of being pinned by Heenan at Wrestlemania. He says that he will fly all over the world if necessary, and then proceed to punch Heenan's lights out - lovely. Meanwhile, Koko has dragged Hall back into the ring, and delivers a bodyslam, followed by an elbow drop. Koko then whips Hall to the ropes ad knocks him down with another elbow to the head, followed by a diving knee. Koko then scoops Hall up, nails him with the brainbuster, and scores the pinfall victory.
Winner - Koko B. Ware via pinfall, at 01:44

Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by in the WWF events centre, and says that many rivalries have been established in the federation, most notably in the battle royal at Wrestlemania. He then lists the heat between Bad News Brown and Bret Hart, due to Brown turning his back on Hart during the battle royal, despite having seemingly formed an alliance towards the end of the bout. In addition, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hercules on the same night in their rivalry, and we go to comments from the loser, who says that next time there will be no unanswered questions, and next time he will prevail as he believes himself to be the strongest and most powerful. The Warrior, on the other hand, believes that they will never get up to things that normal people do - interpret that how you please - and the challenge of combat is open, but Hercules should prepare to fall once again.

    Match #3
Ted DiBiase (w/ Virgil) vs. Jim Evans
The bell sounds and DiBiase delivers a knee to the midsection of Evans, and then pounds away on his back. DiBiase then lifts up Evans and tosses him out of the ring via the bottom rope, as Monsoon reminds us that he could've been crowned WWF Champion at Wrestlemania, had he have not been defeated by Randy Savage in the tournament final. DiBiase jumps out to the outside and rams the head of Evans onto the side of the ring, and he then bodyslams him on the outside. DiBiase grabs the hair of Evans and pulls him back into the ring, where he nails him with a suplex. Pre-recorded comments from DiBiase are shown, and he says that you should never underestimate a man with money, as he has a plan, and always gets what he wants - in this instance, the heavyweight title around his waist. Back in the ring, DiBiase whips Evans to the ropes and then elbows him down, before sending him to the ropes and following in with knees to the midsection. DiBiase whips Evans to the ropes once again and scores with a clothesline, and he then locks in the "Million Dollar Dream" submission move, and after a short while relinquishes the hold, leaving Evans lying on the canvas. The referee checks his arm three times, and needless to say it drops each time, thus ensuring victory for the man in the money. Afterwards, DiBiase grabs a one hundred dollar bill and shoves it into the mouth of Evans, who is still out cold in the middle of the ring.
Winner - Ted DiBiase via stoppage, at 01:52

It's now time for this week's special report, with none other than Lord Alfred Hayes! He says that Andre the Giant's interference during the Ted DiBiase vs. Jim Duggan match in the first round of the title tournament at Wrestlemania not only cost Duggan the match, but also his shot at becoming heavyweight champion. Duggan then seeked revenge, and we go to footage from Superstars, where Andre was scheduled to compete against Brian Costello. As we catch up with events, Duggan is face-to-face with Andre in the centre of the ring, and uses the microphone to state that he is not afraid. Andre then laughs this off, and so Duggan then challenges Andre to a one-on-one match. Hayes then tells us that Andre has never been this angry before, and so as a result, Bobby Heenan is once again his manager - go figure!

    Match #4
"The Rock" Don Muraco (w/ Superstar Billy Graham) vs. Rex King
The bell sounds and they lock up, and Muraco reverses a headlock to execute a drop toe hold. Muraco then applies a headlock of his own, before going behind King and delivering an atomic drop, followed by a back suplex. Muraco then delivers a kneelift to the face, followed by a huge bodyslam. Muraco then lifts King up, delivers the reverse piledriver, and scores the simple victory.
Winner - "The Rock" Don Muraco via pinfall, at 01:18

We now have another special report on Wrestlemania IV, and Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by to fill us in. There was a 20-man invitational battle royal, and courtesy of Coliseum Home Video we are now able to see the closing stages of this match. As we catch up with it, Bret Hart and Bad News Brown seem to be forming an alliance, in order to eliminated the only other superstar left in the ring, The Junkyard Dog. They approach him from different sides of the ring and both attack at the same time, and Brown nails him with a roundhouse right. Hart then goes to the middle rope and nails JYD with an elbow, and Bret and Brown then attempt to eliminate JYD, but he holds onto the top rope. They inflict more damage and this time do manage to eliminate him, leaving Bret and Brown as the last two combatants in the ring. They high five one another and raise each other's hands, but as Bret turns his back Brown nails him with an enseguri, and as we cut to the closing stages, we see Brown toss Bret out, and is therefore the winner. But as he is receiving his trophy, Bret runs back into the ring and tosses Brown out, and then proceeds to destroy the winner's trophy in a true Survivor Series 97 style temper tantrum. We go to comments from Bret, and he says that the whole world got to see how tough Brown is, but they also got to see his double-cross. He says that he is looking for revenge, and as we go to comments from Brown it seems that he is upset at having his presentation party ruined, and so he intends to destroy Bret and make him regret his actions. Okelrund then guarantees that these two will lock up in the near future, and we'd all love to see that battle.

    Match #5
The Honky Tonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs. Outback Jack
Jimmy Hart enters the ring wearing a neat hat on his head, covering up his hair - or lack of - thanks to the trimming by Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake back at Wrestlemania. The bell sounds and after Honky taunts the crowd for a while, they lock up, and Honky backs Jack into the corner. Before we can go any further we get pre-recorded comments from Honky in relation to his Intercontinental title defence at Wrestlemania, and he says that he is the greatest champion, and the fact that Brutus didn't beat him proves that. Back in the ring, Honky goes for a right hand, but Jack ducks out of the way and nails Honky with several of his own. Jack then whips Honky to the opposite turnbuckle and delivers a bodyslam thereafter, much to the fans' approval. He then goes to the middle rope and attempts a back elbow drop, but Honky is able to move out of the way in time. He then drops an elbow to Jack, before whipping him to the ropes and delivering a huge clothesline. He then delivers the "Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll", and scores the swinging neckbreaker pinfall victory. After the match Honky grabs the microphone and thanks all his fans.
Winner - The Honky Tonk Man via pinfall, at 01:20

Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by in the WWF events centre still, and is discussing Randy Savage's amazing triumph at Wrestlemania, in which he defeated Butch Reed, Greg Valentine, One Man Gang and Ted DiBiase all in one night, to become the new WWF heavyweight champion. Okerlund says that DiBiase should be considered to be the number one contender at the moment, and we go to comments from him, and he says that he has a master plan, has all the money, and will have the WWF title. He says that Savage was saved by Hogan and Elizabeth in the title match, but next time there will be nobody to save him, as he always gets what he wants. We go to comments from Savage who says that the belt looks good on him, and says that the reason DiBiase lost is because he is inspired by money, whereas he is inspired by Elizabeth - "Come get me" he says, in true fighting spirit.

Well that wraps it up for another week here on Wrestling Challenge, but up next week we will see Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Strike Force, One Man Gang, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, and a whole lot more. Until then, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan say goodbye. I do likewise, but trust that you will be back here next week. If you wish to contact me feel free to do so via e-mail to Segaboyno@aol.com, or i'm available on AOL IM as well. Take care!
